Better late than never… A lil @intlpoleconvention West appreciation post!!

Thank you so much to everyone who came to Off the Pole, Stronger Together: Express!

I had such a great time meeting you all, moving together and sharing a little bit of OTPST with you.

30 minutes went by WAY too fast but I’m so glad we got to spend it together. With so much to see and do at PoleCon, it meant a lot that you chose to spend some of your weekend moving, learning & vibing with me and my playlist!

And if you were there, send me a DM! I have a little something for you. 👀

Hope our paths cross again soon, pals!💪🏽👯‍♀️💜 taken in Sheraton Mesa Hotel at Wrigleyville West by @offthepolestrength

OTPST has never just been about workouts.

It’s about building strength in a way that feels supportive, sustainable & actually translates to your pole & aerial journey. But more than that- it’s about community!

Watching my pals grow stronger, more confident, more connected to their bodies & each other has been such a gift! I am SO grateful for everyone who’s been part of the Stronger Together crew so far 💪🏽👯‍♀️

If you’ve been looking for what to do off the pole & a like-minded, badass crew to do that with… you’ve found it!💜

Pole alone isn’t enough.

If you want to get stronger, move better, and actually progress on the pole… you need some structure off the pole too!

That’s exactly why I created OTPST.

No more random workouts. No more guessing what “cross-training” is supposed to look like.

Just intentional strength + movement training designed specifically to support your pole and aerial practice.

OTPST ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT 💜 Victoria @goddessatalanta

Before OTPST, Victoria dreaded strength training. Traditional curls and presses just weren’t her thing, but discovering a more dynamic way to train completely changed her experience!

“I was genuinely surprised by how much I enjoyed the dynamic compound exercises that both challenged my mind and engaged my entire core.

The biggest transformation? I actually don’t mind my strength training workouts now—something I never thought I’d say about workouts involving weights and reps.” — Victoria

Victoria, my “man arms” muscle sister- I’m gonna keep this short so you don’t have to spend too much time on IG 😝 I’m beyond grateful our paths crossed and that we’ve found so much to connect over beyond just pole & working out. I know I’ve found a lifelong friend in you and I can’t wait for all the adventures still to come!

Thank you for trusting me (and Andy) + OTPST to be part of your journey. Love you, sis! 💜💪🏽👯‍♀️

More pole isn’t always the answer. 👀

Pole asks A LOT from our bodies and sometimes the best way to support everything we want to do on the pole is to spend time training off of it.

Intentional strength training gives us an opportunity to build strength, improve mobility, work on weaknesses + support our recovery so we can keep coming back to the pole feeling strong and capable.💪🏽

It’s not about replacing your pole training. It’s about supporting it.

Ever have one of those moments on the pole where your brain is like… wait, WHERE is my leg supposed to go?! 😂

Body awareness is knowing where your body is in space and being able to adjust as you move—which gets pretty useful when you’re twisting, turning, upside down + moving around a pole. 👀

And it’s not something we only practice ON the pole. Moving intentionally through different positions off the pole gives us another opportunity to build that connection with our bodies. 💪🏽

It’s not always about lifting heavier. Sometimes it’s about learning to move better. by @offthepolestrength

Train the qualities that support your pole practice.💪🏽

Strength. Mobility. Power. Control. Stability. Coordination.

Build them intentionally off the pole and give your body more to pull from on it.

Strength is important but your body also has to know how to put it all together. 👀

Moving from Ayesha into Seabreeze requires a lot of different things to happen at once and your body has to coordinate all of it.

That’s one of the reasons I LOVE a Turkish Get-Up. It challenges your entire body to work together as you move through different positions under load. 💪🏽

That’s the goal: teaching your body to work as one connected system. by @offthepolestrength

OTPST ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT 💜 Aszkara @aszkaraglitters

Aszkara first found OTPST after seeing another athlete in tricks class and asking what she had been doing to get stronger. The answer? Off the Pole Strength Training. 💪🏽

Fast forward just THREE MONTHS in…

“Since training with Abby, I have made more progress in just 3 months than I had in a year. I am confident in my strength now, which has enabled me to nail tricks much faster than before and achieve dream tricks like unicorn, iguanas & crossed ankle layback.

Thanks to Abby and OTPST, I am building routines for showcases and competitions that are complex and powerful and I am working towards becoming like the dancers I look up to.” -Aszkara

And now look at her up there PERFORMING @intlpoleconvention !!! 🥹💜🤩

Aszkara, I am so incredibly proud to be on this journey with you!! Once you decided to go ALL IN, you freakin went for it! And watching your hard work & commitment pay off has been incredible.

I’m so grateful I get to be one of your guides along the way, my girl. You are an inspiration to all who know you! I truly believe there is NOTHING you can’t do. Dream BIG - I cannot wait to see what’s next!! 🫶🏽 by @offthepolestrength

Strength training is about building CAPACITY. 💪🏽

The capacity to hold positions longer, push + pull with more strength, move with more control, recover better and keep showing up for the sport you love.

Pole asks a lot from our bodies. Intentional strength training helps us build a stronger foundation to meet those demands.

Getting into the shape is one thing. Being able to HOLD it is another. 👀

Stability is your ability to maintain a strong, organized position while forces are working against you—which is a pretty important skill when you’re holding an Ayesha on spin. 💪🏽

Bottoms-up kettlebell march challenges your grip, shoulders, core + entire body to stay stable while you move.

We’re not training one exercise for one trick. We’re building the physical qualities our pole practice can pull from.

That’s what intentional strength training is all about! by @offthepolestrength
