POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Last Friday, we released our collaborative debut record on @ofnot___ , and we’re very excited to finally share it with the world.

We’ve been making music together for years now, and this record feels particularly special to us. It began with a few piano motifs recorded during an afternoon in Rome, and naturally evolved into what it is today.

It was only after finishing the album that we realised the process had allowed us to release a certain pressure surrounding shared feelings tied to particular moments in our lives.

We want to give a special thanks to @_kamaru_ for the support, care, and trust in helping us share this music.

We’re also deeply grateful to everyone involved in bringing this release into the world.

CANALS by Sanea Ima & Vanja Sturno Is finally out today!

LP/ Digital now available on all platforms, link in bio.

“It’s an album that’s best absorbed as a whole, a vortex of ritualistic, rhythmic repetitions that Sturno and Geeraert appropriately refer to as “spiral listening”.

Delighted to announce debut album ‘CANALS’ by Sanea Ima (@sanea_ima) and Vanja Sturno (@vanjasturno) out on OFNOT on May 22nd, 2026!

Listen to the first single ‘CANALS III’ out today!

OF05 - Sanea Ima & Vanja Sturno - CANALS
LP / Digital available for pre-order via Bandcamp
Release date: May 22, 2026
- link in bio -

‘Shaped from fragile, emotionally charged piano motifs that distort, disappear and transform into dense, cinematic textures, ‘CANALS’ is a debut that’s finely matured, the result of years of friendship and growth. Italian artist Vanja Sturno and Montréal-based Belgian-Spanish composer Pablo Geeraert (aka Sanea Ima) have worked together extensively on various projects up until now, but ‘CANALS’ is their first official release as a duo. Having both studied music academically, the pair were eager to work more intuitively, so applied their well-honed set of skills to sound that, instead of fitting into a conceptual box, reflected more personal experiences.’

“It’s an album that’s best absorbed as a whole, a vortex of ritualistic, rhythmic repetitions that Sturno and Geeraert appropriately refer to as “spiral listening”.

REVIEW // Ethereal yet grounded, ‘No Sound in Space‘ is the debut release from @blake_lee on @_kamaru_ record label @ofnot___ where the American producer channels the silence of astral infinity through intricate soundscapes that oscillate between thoughtful solitude and cinematic perspective.
