NO SEASONS
BRISBANE POWERHOUSE
30-31 OCT

After having 22 eggs frozen as a teenager before his transition, the artist – alongside his family and partner – tackles the thorny questions that arise ten years on, as he enters his thirties and begins to question the pathways to fatherhood.

Each audience member can choose the story they would like to listen to from three headphone options: ‘I am a parent’, ‘I am not, but I might be’, and ‘I am not and I never will be’.

Counting down the days til we premiere in Brisbane with this beautiful show. I'm so proud of this work and the entire team and can't wait to share it with you.

Ollie got a phone call from his Dad this morning with this news. Couldn’t be more thrilled with the reception that ‘No Seasons’ has had. Enormous thanks to the many hands that made this work - this is my most ambitious project to date and the entire team has poured themselves into this.

Having a dad in your corner matters. Especially when the world outside is getting louder, nastier and full of misinformation.

Using your child’s name. Challenging a hurtful comment. Stepping in when bullying starts. Standing proudly beside them.

That’s big dad energy. 💙

But dads are often less likely to seek help or join family support programs, and few services are designed specifically for them. That gap matters because their kids need them to show up.

Transcend Australia’s DadSpace brings dads and father figures together to turn commitment into action.

This GiveOUT Day, your donation will help us work with dads to create practical resources for families across Australia.

More dads showing up. More kids feeling safe, accepted and supported.

Donate before midnight tonight and your gift will be doubled.

Help close the gap. Give big dad energy. Donation link in bio. by @ogcayres

When I was 19, before I started transitioning, I had 22 of my eggs frozen.

As an artist I’ve always processed my life through being creative. Since I started making No Seasons with @brandxinc in 2024, @k.ait.e and I have been on an incredible journey as we start to talk about kids and family and what life could be.

After an initial showing with @melbfringe we are so excited to be taking the show all the way to @melt.fest with @bris_powerhouse. It’s been incredible to see audiences across Australia resonate with what we have made.

I’ve been on my own journey to fatherhood. I’ve been thinking about the kind of dad I want to be - someone my child knows is in their corner.

That’s why I’m so excited to announce that I am supporting @transcend_australia this GiveOUT Day!

Swipe through to see how you can help more dads show up for their trans, non-binary and gender diverse kids. Link to donate in bio 🏳️‍⚧️ by @ogcayres
