THANK YOU ✨️

The TNA Artform Shaker Award was given to us for our outstanding leadership and innovation in equity, justice, care and inclusion. We are really grateful that our efforts in keeping both audience and artist victims/survivors of SA safe in the theatre was acknowledged and celebrated! thankyouthankyouthankyou 🫰

Awards aren't everything, but this is a massive step up for us as emerging artists trying to underpin accessibility in asking "who are we making this show for?", "who are our artists?", "what do we need which the confessional theatre style forgets?"

Most of all - THANK YOU TO THOSE WHO HELPED US MAKE THIS SHOW. Thank you to the cast and crew, thank you to @joe.paradise.lui for literally jumping on calls with no notice. Thank you to @hugoakk , @tim_cwilson , @minami.1001101, and Cole for picking up our calls and Andrew Thompson for literally coming in and fixing our rig. Massive, massive love to you all!! Thank you to Kate's carpenter housemates and random piles of wood!!

THANK YOU BLUESTONE!!!

Would like to say thank you to @cyndajacebeare for our living room dramaturgy and @claudiaharrisproducing for being my on-call WHAT DO I DO producer <33 bloody legends. Thank you to AJ's Mum who picked up everything and for Lauren (yes you, Gall), who is just a legend.

Thank you Cos <3 for literally everything. An absolute killer and caring director who just gets it.

MWAH 🥰🥰

Having a dad in your corner matters. Especially when the world outside is getting louder, nastier and full of misinformation.

Using your child’s name. Challenging a hurtful comment. Stepping in when bullying starts. Standing proudly beside them.

That’s big dad energy. 💙

But dads are often less likely to seek help or join family support programs, and few services are designed specifically for them. That gap matters because their kids need them to show up.

Transcend Australia’s DadSpace brings dads and father figures together to turn commitment into action.

This GiveOUT Day, your donation will help us work with dads to create practical resources for families across Australia.

More dads showing up. More kids feeling safe, accepted and supported.

Donate before midnight tonight and your gift will be doubled.

Help close the gap. Give big dad energy. Donation link in bio.

PIGSKIN is still on till Saturday. Cannot express how beautifully flattered we are by all of these gorgeous crowd-pleasers and texts we have had over the past few days.

We made this show because being a victim/survivor with an intersectional identity is unique. Dissociation, the separation of your mind, body and spirit, is a ruthless experience which makes no sense unless you are feeling it.

So we are extremely happy that you felt it.

Thank you so much, and come see this show x

PIGSKIN visual story. Part 2.

On slide 2:
Image description: A pig puppet with a long nose and mud on its snout. It is sitting on a paisley red rug and a hand is holding the snout. One of its ears are half flopping over. On the body of the pig are patches of dark and light pink. In the centre, at the top of the pig is a small slit like a mailbox. It has brown paint, like mud, surrounding this hole.

On slide 3:
Image description: A woman with short brown
hair dressed casually, she looks to be on a walk
through the suburbs in this photo. She has
sparkling eyes with smile lines

On slide 4 and 5 (the same image):
A photo of the inside of a church. This church was built in the mid-1800s. The floor is made of wood, as is the ceiling. The walls are white. There is a central arch in the middle of the far wall, with three arched doors. The door on the far right of this view is the accessible entrance, and in this photo the door is open, and light is pouring in from outside, as it was taken during the day. There
are hanging lights from the ceiling – four are visible. There are two windows on each side from this
perspective. All are arched with a 19th century style black lattice across the pane of glass.

PIGSKIN visual story part 1.

Image descriptions:
On slide 7 -
1st image description: is a photo of the exterior of Bluestone Church Arts Space. It is a beautiful 19th century bluestone church. The stones are a dark blueish gray colour. There are blue arched double doors in the very middle of the building, one is open. This is the main entrance. Above this is a huge ‘rose window’ – a large stained glass window usually found in old churches.

2nd image description: is a photo of the rear exterior of Bluestone Church Arts Space. This is the wheelchair
accessible entrance for the venue. Like the previous
photo, the stones are a beautiful dark blueish gray.
There is a single, open blue arched door. A
paved level area surrounds this. There is a tube like
coach light above this doorway.

On slide 8 -
1st Image Description: A diagram of the entire venue. A rectangle with a five sided alcove on the left hand side. There is a door in the centre of the alcove that leads to the main rectangular space, and then another door to the right of the alcove. It has an entrance/exit and is marked on the diagram with an emergency exit sign. This is the accessible entrance. Towards the right hand side of the rectangle are two circular rooms that end in angled corners. The top room is where the bathrooms, including the accessible bathroom, is located. All bathrooms are gender neutral and have access to sanitary disposal bins. The bottom room, the exact same shape and size as the one prior, is instead used as storage. Inside is a small kitchenette that doubles as the bar and box office space. There is an opening here where an usher can speak to you, or where you can order something to drink. At the back of the kitchenette is a small L-shaped alcove where the quiet room is located.

2nd Image Description: A diagram of the set design intentions. This is only the back part of the church, because this is where the stage will be.To the left of the alcove, in front of the locked door, are objects marked ‘fence/gate acting as flats, ‘meat rack’, and ‘trough’. To the right of the alcove, are more objects such as 'fence/gates', ‘meat lamp’, and ‘bed/nest’.
