On this day last month we lost our father Ahmed Mohammed Habib Al Redha..what a tremendous loss that is, and none of my fancy words will suffice to describe that loss for me.
Everyone's father is a hero to them, and baba really was my hero. He taught me about life more than anyone or anything or even life itself could ever teach me. No one ever understood me the way my father did. No one could instantly uplift my spirits or shelter my soul on my darkest days as much as he did and no one ever brought me closer to myself and to Allah than he did. He was my gateway to the heavens, my mentor, my biggest supporter and critic, and my closest and dearest friend.
I am eternally grateful to have had 34 years basking in the light of his glorious soul and I will forever be proud to be his daughter.
My final thought and wish is that inshallah i can still make him proud as he watches over all of us and that Allah reunites us when it's my time.

My Oyana 🤍

One of the funniest, fiercest, and most free-spirited souls I have ever had the privilege of loving.

You never followed the trail… you led it.

You carried your pain with a strength that only now I realize, until your little body simply couldn’t anymore.

Thank you for every hike, every camping trip, every muddy paw print, every sunrise, every laugh, and every unforgettable adventure. Thank you for standing beside me through some of the hardest chapters of my life, asking for nothing more than love.

Thank you for the beautiful puppies you brought into this world, each one now cherished by a family of their own.

I wish we had been given one more hike.
One more adventure.
One more “good girl.”
