Fun fact: @saturdaysatyourplace recorded their new record ‘these things happen’ 1 floor below the studio where we recorded this live session! We even used some of the same amplifiers and microphones that were used on the record!

We have some more live in studio sessions and live concerts coming soon, so stay tuned and check out S@YP’s live sessions on YT if you haven’t yet! Link in bio.

Our new control room is up and running! What a crazy project, and lots of people to thank.

Matthew Pantelis @nonexoticmusic did all the framing for our rear control room wall, helped install the window, the wooden door and the sliding door, and stapled all the burlap on the ceiling. What a total legend! We love Matt and this would not have come together without his kindness and expertise. Hire him to work on your studio, too!

Mani Armada @mani_armada did the initial framing, which we then stuffed with insulation, and then he installed two layers of drywall. Mani absolutely rocks.

Henry True @henry_true_ painted our control room floor and walls, our live room floor and walls. He crushed it and we couldn’t be happier with how it looks.

Thank you immesurably to everyone who helped cut insulation to stuff into the framing, and helped cut & staple burlap to the framing as well - Tyler Floyd, John Micensky, Matt Ciani, Daniel Harris Mendoza (who also wired up the electrical outlets!!), Joe Suihkonen, and everyone else who I might be forgetting.

Thank you to Matt Ciani, Nico Ciani, and Collin Dall for helping move the control room from upstairs to downstairs. Extra special thanks to Tyler Floyd for staying up with me till 5am on the second day of the move, making sure everything was wired & working correctly. That was real Locked In Alien behavior.

It’s been an incredible effort making this come together, but we’re getting there, and making killer records along the way. More soon!
