Happy Birthday to me! I’m truly grateful to the Lord for bringing me this far. Looking back at the vision board I created at the start of the year, I’m proud of the goals I’ve accomplished. But I also recognize that I’ve poured so much of myself into work that I didn’t leave enough room to nurture other parts of my life. My gifts, relationships, passions and the things that truly bring me joy were all neglected. Almost forgetting my birthday was the reminder I needed to slow down and start pouring back into myself, tending to the seeds God has planted in me while also making space for balance and peace. Above all, I am thankful for another year of life. ♥️🎂🥳

On Jan 26th 2025 my amazing partner decided to throw me a birthday surprise of a lifetime. He pulled all the stops, commissioned my entire village and his village and made his heart tangible. Not JUST a friend, I’m not JUST a sister, I’m not JUST a stylist, I’m not JUST a girlfriend, I’m not JUST a daughter I AM THE BEST. I give my best to everyone I meet. I know no strangers and I love everyone wholeheartedly. With all that being said I am grateful that my adolescent journal entries have manifested in a Man 👏🏾who does not 👏🏾play about 👏🏾Darlene or anyone she loves.
