This book changed turkey hunting for me, and likely a good amount of fellow turkey hunters. The world has lost Colonel Tom Kelly, Inc., but what a legacy and gift he has left us in his writings, and in his life. He was such a gracious, funny and insightful human.

"In the beginning when you start, somebody has to teach you. Somebody has got to take the time and trouble to hunt with you... Somebody has got to introduce you to turkeys in the beginning and take the trouble to present turkeys to you." by @oilyhunter

Andy reeling up a lobster entangled in fishing line and a busted Budweiser can was definitely not on my bingo card for our fluke trip yesterday. Cleared the fishing line, threw the bud can in the trash and returned the lobster to live another day. by @oilyhunter

I saved this a few weeks ago, and hopefully all the house adulting suck is now fixed and we can enjoy the AC and water. But wanted to share because I know we aren't the only ones dealing with life 😣 by @oilyhunter

🎯 Help us gear up for the 8th Annual WITO Mentored Archery Deer Camp! 🎯

Every year, NJ Women in the Outdoors (a proud part of the NWTF) helps women learn the skills, confidence, and joy of archery hunting. This year, we need a little help from our amazing community to level up our camp experience.

We are raising funds to purchase new ground blinds to keep our mentors and mentees concealed, safe, and warm in the field! As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, 100% of your donation goes directly toward empowering the next generation of outdoorswomen.

How you can help:

Donate:
Venmo: @NWTF-WITO (business)
PayPal: paypal.me/WITO2020

Share: Pass this post along to fellow hunters and outdoor enthusiasts.

Let’s get these ladies ready for success this season! Thank you for your incredible support! 🌲🍂

Crazy to think there are people actively trying to make it illegal to kennel your dog while traveling in a vehicle. Along with it being animal cruelty to hunt, trap, fish, ranch and so on. Thankful I don't live in Oregon, but we also can't let this proposed legislation get any traction in Oregon.

🚣 Looking for a new fishing buddy that never talks back? This kayak has seen fewer fish than it hoped, but plenty of good days on the water. 😂

My 2021 Lifetime Tioga 10’ Angler Kayak is ready for its next adventure. Floats better than my excuses for not catching fish. 🎣

Does not include paddle. 200 out the door. by @oilyhunter

Carlin loves a good trapping convention, and it is safe to say she had a blast at the Pennsylvania Trappers Association Rendezvous hosted by District 1. Once the tornado warnings and sirens stopped and the rain cleared it was a beautiful weekend in northwestern PA. by @oilyhunter

Congratulations to Andy on receiving much deserved recognition at the NJ State Chapter NWTF Banquet for his dedication to the Spruce Run Chapter and NJ State Chapter NWTF. He gives probably more than most will ever see between Youth events, banquets, hunts and helping behind the scenes of the WITO Chapter. I know I couldn't do what I do without his support either❤️🦃 by @oilyhunter
