🎯 Help us gear up for the 8th Annual WITO Mentored Archery Deer Camp! 🎯

Every year, NJ Women in the Outdoors (a proud part of the NWTF) helps women learn the skills, confidence, and joy of archery hunting. This year, we need a little help from our amazing community to level up our camp experience.

We are raising funds to purchase new ground blinds to keep our mentors and mentees concealed, safe, and warm in the field! As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, 100% of your donation goes directly toward empowering the next generation of outdoorswomen.

How you can help:

Donate:
Venmo: @NWTF-WITO (business)
PayPal: paypal.me/WITO2020

Share: Pass this post along to fellow hunters and outdoor enthusiasts.

Let’s get these ladies ready for success this season! Thank you for your incredible support! 🌲🍂

That’s a wrap on the 2026 WITO + Prois Pheasant hunt! 6 Dogs, 4 Handlers, 11 Hunters and a bunch of pheasants in pockets!

Message from WITO 👉 Thank you to Prois for supporting this event, to the Hunt family for providing outstanding fields and birds. It's been great to watch our hunters go from Hunter/shooter to bird dog owner/handler. One of the primary goals of our chapter is to empower women to have the confidence to do all the outdoor things and this event is all about that.

Join us in giving these ladies an around of applause and huge shoutout to Prois Staffer & NJ Coordinator, Cristina McGannon Jones for organizing another incredible year of this hunt! We spy a few Prois Staffers in the crowd, too! Prois is always proud to be a part. Plus, LOOK at those cookies! Well done, ladies!!!

A huge thank you to Speckled Hen Photography for capturing some amazing moments from our Goose Camp last week with Drakes Waterfowl Guide.

We cannot reccomend Sam enough to grab the 📸 while you hunt with Dave of Drakes! It's a winning combo.

Last week the NJ Women in the Outdoors, NWTF Chapter partnered with @davidsteckley of Drakes Waterfowl Guide for WITO Goose Camp. A day of learning and a day (or two) of hunting for 20 ladies from all over the state (and CT). From calling to decoy placement to processing geese and more we covered as much as we could pack into the days. A lot of first birds, laughs and memories made.

This event would not have been possible without Dave's hard work, and dedication. Thank you to Darren and Kelly for their time and talent and to our helpers Chris, Wyatt, Zach and Nick, thank you!

Do not hesitate to reach out to Drakes Waterfowl Guide if you are looking for a quality, welcoming and safe hunt experience.

🚨 HARVEST REPORT! 🚨 Holy sunset and holy HARVEST! Prois Staffer & NJ Coordinator, Cristina McGannon Jones takes in the last hour of the day and strikes success with her bow blessed by a beautiful sunset. Moral of her story of this hunt is to, “Just go hunt! Even if all you have is an hour. You never know what may walk by!” Congratulations!!!!
