valentine's poster here we go ❤️‍🔥 favourite cupid fact: he shot Apollo with a golden arrow, making him fall deeply in love with this nymph Daphne- but being the cheeky fellow he was, he then shot Daphne with a lead arrow which made her disgusted by Apollo 💘

ok listen up. this is a round up. these last few months i’ve been in hermit mode after flipping my career on its head to learn graphic design (see branding for Convivio bookstore in Mexico City). having graduated the course, i’m now entering designer mode. ⭐️ this year also saw starter car release real music into the fast lane, with our first singles then an EP in September, culminating in my favourite show ever at the Shack which made me realise i’m surrounded by good people. ⭐️ i also joined @maripool__ and was lucky enough to go on tour with @sqrrlflwr ⭐️ but the year wasn’t all good, there was also a big loss. lucky i’m surrounded by all those good people ✨

it is with a heavy heart that i announce that Starter Car are… ONLY JUST GETTING STARTED! One year ago i put some posters up in a couple of venues i thought were cool, and the result was finding Joe, Maggie and Dougal to help me realise my bedroom recordings. I feel very lucky to have stumbled across such special people and a beautiful community- and there’s still so much to come!

Next up we’re revved up to be playing @triplesisbestuk all-dayer at the Victoria on 25th August, before the @startercar_band event of the year at the Shack next month 🏁
