It’s layering season and @uniqlocanada fall/winter 2026 collection has got you covered.

I got a chance to check out and style pieces from the collection and I loved what I was able to put together!

This collection is heavy on fleece, layers, comfort, and of course elevated style and I focused on 3 looks for 3 vibes. Your everyday fall run, a fall evening out, and a special event look.

What was your favourite look?

WHAT’S ON? TORONTO 🎭

It’s autumn but just the right time for Spring Awakening!

Before it became the Broadway musical so many of us know and love, it was Frank Wedekind’s controversial 1891 play and getting to experience the original story onstage as @soulpeppertheatre 26/27 season opener made me understand the musical in a completely different way.

Written over 130 YEARS AGO, this play remains as relevant today as it was even at the time of its musical adaptation!

If you know the musical, I think you’ll have a really interesting time seeing where it all came from.

And if you don’t? Come meet these interesting kids for the first time.

🎭 Spring Awakening
📍 @soulpeppertheatre
🗓️ Now playing until Oct 18

Tickets available through @soulpeppertheatre

WHAT’S ON? TORONTO 🎭

Before there was rock & roll, R&B, soul and so much of the music we know and love today, there were the women of the blues.

Revolutionary Women in Blues celebrates the lives, music and legacy of Ma Rainey, Bessie Smith and Sister Rosetta Tharpe! Three Black women whose influence can still be heard generations later.

And with Divine Brown @db432hz , SATE @stateofsate and Joanna Majoko @itsjoannamajoko bringing their stories and music to the stage?? The entire theatre was absolutely blown away by their electrifying vocals

A little history, a LOT of music, and a reminder to give these revolutionary women their flowers.

🗓️ Playing until August 23

WHAT’S ON? TORONTO 🎭

Shakespeare, but make it a Toronto summer night in the absolutely beautiful High Park.

If you’re looking for the perfect excuse to spend an evening outdoors, Twelfth Night is back as part of @canadianstage Dream in High Park.

After a shipwreck separates twins Viola and Sebastian, mistaken identities, unexpected love triangles, hilarious disguises, and absolute chaos unfold. It’s witty, romantic, and packed with the kind of comedy that proves Shakespeare really knew how to write messy people.

Whether you’re a Shakespeare lover or you’re convinced it’s “not your thing,” this is one of the most accessible (and fun) ways to experience one of his most beloved comedies.

Pack a blanket, bring a friend, bring snacks and let the park become the stage.

🎭 Twelfth Night
📍 Dream in High Park
Running until Sept 6

WHAT’S ON? TORONTO 🎭

What happens when the woman history called a monster finally gets to tell her side of the story?

Medusa at @soulpeppertheatre flips one of Greek mythology’s most infamous tales on its head, inviting us to look beyond the snakes, the curse, and the legend we’ve all been told.

Starring an extraordinary ensemble cast led by Oyin Oladejo, and written by @shieldserin1 this bold retelling follows a young woman whose life is forever changed by power, violence, and the stories others choose to tell about her.

It’s myth, It’s drama, but It’s also a story about who gets believed, who gets blamed, and what happens when a woman reclaims her voice.

With an Immersive experience brought to you by @outsidethemarch this production will leave you asking important questions and evaluating the world around you better.

🎭 Medusa
📍 @soulpeppertheatre
📆 Running till July 12

WHAT’S ON? TORONTO 🎭

One thing about me? Before every show, I’m going to make a completely unqualified guess about what it’s about. 😂

So heading into @danceworkstoronto Sweet Ephemera, I thought I had it figured out.

A contemporary dance double bill? Okay, cool. We’re probably talking about love, relationships, heartbreak, maybe some yearning sprinkled in there.

Then I actually watched the show, and found something far more layered.

Through movement, ritual, memory, and deeply human moments, Sweet Ephemera invited me to sit with ideas of connection, identity, cultural memory, and the fleeting experiences that shape who we become.

One of my favourite things about dance is that it doesn’t hand you all the answers. It gives you space to experience, interpret, and feel.

So this week’s question is: was my original guess completely off… or did I actually eat that?

🎭 Sweet Ephemera

Closes today 20th June 😔

Made my way to the 🐦‍⬛ Crowsnest @crowstheatre for the opening night of Primary Trust!

This heartwarming production took me on an incredibly human journey, with hopeful and happy tears being the end point. 🥹

Making its Ontario Premiere with direction by @cherissarichards and starring Durae McFarlane as Kenneth, this Pulitzer Award-winning piece is sure to tug on the right strings of your heart.

Shoutout to the incredible ensemble cast: @djpaulydij (recently seen in “How to Catch Creation”), @ryanhollyman (recently seen in “Cicadas”), @peternbailey, and @daniloraytunes!

I also loved stepping into the Primary Trust universe by trying the signature cocktail at the bar “Mai Tai for Kenneth” which was absolutely delightful! 🍹

Altogether a 10/10 experience. I highly recommend you see this show!

🗓️ Primary Trust runs until June 21st, so be sure to grab a ticket soon!
