June: HOT 🥵 The t-shirt tan is in full effect. Bit of London, bit of Devon bit of sauna, bit of fish fancy dress, bit of watching Jon and Ells get married. I transport all manner stuff in the trusty Astra, the universe tells me to build a single speed bike with tan-wall tyres. We do some mountain biking, some road biking, see some deer and I buy a purple pair of shorts which have me in a chokehold for the whole month. Nice. by @okidner

May: Summer is here so I get to stay out late and ride bikes until my hands have blisters on them. Jon shoots aliens and guns, Hugo buys a Swedish wagon, I spend a LOT of time labelling things in the garage and I regret my missed opportunity to become a Terrapin dad. by @okidner

March. Sometimes you don’t realise how burnt out you are until you actually stop and take stock. Sometimes you just need to focus on driving Land Rovers and hanging out with your pals. Will and Leanne got married, Kit got put in detention, Luke gets battered and papped, I had a ride in Dan’s very fast French car, there began to be an inkling of lighter evenings and of course, I rode as many bikes as possible. by @okidner

January: Started the year under the table cramming grapes into my mouth. Who knows what the year will bring - fortune I hope. There’s been a few beautiful bright days but the dark still feels like a grind. There’s been lots of challenge already in a month. 43 deep fried wings, lots of gym stuff for my back, d.i.y shelving taking too long. Disassembling a broken car and some long days at work. I also did some cool stuff which I’d been wanting to do for a while. I tried climbing, and bought more shoes… am I about to relapse into trainer obsession again? by @okidner

2025 pt.1 as it unfolded: You think I could limit it to 20 photos? You’re getting it just like I did, in all its chaotic, sporadic glory. We had a flipping good summer this year. Thank you to everyone who was part of my year, I love you all. by @okidner

December: The month of burning the candle at both ends. I don’t know if I was becoming nocturnal or the daylight was so fleeting I was left to scurry about in the dark. I hate the darkness but it’s been fun to have lots of missions to complete. Presents to buy, trips to squeeze in etc. the new bike is built up, the Astra continues to give me grief but it finally got some loving. Hugo is actually pretty funny it turns out. I have become an rc truck anorak and I don’t care who knows. If you want to feel old go to a Bladee concert. In a shock turn of events we round off the year with an astounding clap back from the mystery man Scott Parker who was alleged to be wanking off dogs. (check September ‘24) who knows what 2026 will hold for Scott and Darrell… by @okidner

October you were a shitter. The evenings went dark, I parked my car into a tree and parked my face into the steering wheel. I did win best dressed bug and did some e-biking though so maybe It wasn’t all bad by @okidner
