Being part of a @toyotausa Super Bowl commercial, alongside icons like @bubbawallace and @pukaizded , is more than I ever imagined.

Toyota didn’t just make a Super Bowl commercial. They made a reminder. A reminder of where dreams begin—and that EVERY dream matters, even when the world sees limitations.

Hearing little Sawyer’s voice yelling, “We’ll go further than we ever thought we could,” will live in my heart forever—& will be my anthem/motto on every start line as I head into my 8th Paralympic Games.

For little Oksana… and even more, for little Sawyer—so she knows, believes, and SEES that she CAN do anything and go farther than SHE ever thought possible.

Some feelings can’t be put into words. I am beyond proud to stand on the podium representing the heart, fight, love, resiliency, and pure joy for two countries. #teamusa 🇺🇸 & Ukraine🇺🇦

Thank you to the whole @usparanordicski team For helping make this moment possible. 9 years after competing in biathlon & chasing this moment and 14 years later after learning about the Paralympics in 2008.

I not only finally got to hold my dream, but I also am sharing parts of it with my home country of Ukraine especially for the young kids with disabilities. I want to make every start line mean something, make it really count for more than a result . That’s why I will be donating proceeds of my prize money from the Paralympics here to “No Child Forgotten” managed by @GlobalGiving and Bright Kids Charity, supporting children living with physical disabilities in Ukraine - many of them with single moms.

The most decorated U.S. Winter Paralympian of all time, eight-time Paralympian @oksanamasters has amassed 24 medals, including 13 golds, across four sports. Born in Ukraine with radiation-induced birth defects and later undergoing the amputation of both legs above the knee, Oksana has spent a lifetime refusing to let circumstance determine what she could become. When injuries forced her to change course, she adapted, reinvented herself, and found new ways to compete at the highest level. In 2026, she made history once again, adding four gold medals and a bronze to her remarkable record. Through every setback, comeback and reinvention, Oksana has found a way forward, inspiring others to see possibility where the world too often sees limits.

I haven’t disappeared—I’ve been rebuilding, with a little life and laughter mixed in along the way. ❤️

For the past 6 months, my health has felt like a broken record: get knocked down, rebuild, repeat. Because my birth defects are linked to radiation exposure, I never know what—or when—something may show up. But I’m so grateful to the USOPC National Medical Network & Texas Children’s Hospital for continuing to search for answers & helping me rebuild.

The road may look different, but the goal hasn’t changed: the starting line(s) at LA 2028. 💪🇺🇸

Oksana Masters says society decided what she was capable of long before she got a say: invisible, unworthy, limited by every label attached to her.

“My biggest pet peeve is determining what I’m capable of achieving and doing based on what their limited view is... I wanted to rewrite my own story.”

The labels were never accurate. They were just convenient, until she stopped letting someone else hold the pen.
