Here’s a student who’s been working on her film craft with Coach O, sharing her experience.

Even in a group setting, every student walks away with what THEY actually need. That’s the difference.

Drop a 🎬 if you’re ready to start your own training.

A callback means they already like you. They saw something in your first read and they want more. The goal is not to reinvent everything.

Bring what worked. Be open to adjustments. Connect with the people in the room. That is what they are looking for the second time around.

This is what audition prep looks like at OWAS. Coach O walks every student through the process before they walk in the room. Who are you. What do you want. What is at stake. What happened before this scene started. By the time you get there, you already know exactly how to walk in.

You got the audition. Now what? The actors who walk in calm and prepared have a system.

They know what to do the night before, the morning of, and the 60 seconds before they walk in the room. You don’t have to be perfect but if you have a process you can trust, you will succeed.

This is one of many things we build in The OWAS Method.

This summer we covered cold reading, self-taping, scene work, commercial technique, emotional preparation, and taking direction. All of it is still on the feed. Save it. Go back to it. Use it. September is when everything you built this summer gets put to work. Fall audition season is here. The OWAS Method is open for fall enrollment. DM us to start training with Coach O.

Creating a safe space for actors to do real work is everything. When students feel comfortable enough to let their guard down, that is when the breakthroughs happen. Thank you M. Blaise for the kind words. This is what we build at OWAS every single session.

Fall audition season starts in September. The actors who feel ready are the ones who spent the summer building.

Cold reading. Emotional preparation. Self-tape technique. Taking direction. If any of that feels shaky, you still have time.

Fall enrollment for The OWAS Method is open.

☑️ Weekly coaching with Coach O.
☑️ Personalized to your craft.
☑️ In person or Zoom.

DM us to get started.

When a casting director gives you an adjustment, they are telling you they liked something and want to see what else you can bring.

That is an opportunity to show your range. Listen to the full note, take a beat, then make a real shift. The actors who handle adjustments well are the ones who keep getting called back.
