Anniversary Jeans!

Love this thing so here’s some background if you’re interested

According to the serial #, this was made in 1948, in Elizabethport, NJ. This model is the 1948 201-2 which are equipped with a “potted” direct drive motor. This allowed for maximum torque rather than its cousins’ belt driven motor. This model is highly regarded as the “Rolls Royce” of sewing machine for its precision engineering and its quality construction.
