Our friends at @threebrothersbagels will be baking a limited batch of handmade pretzels for the day — if you’ve never had their bagels, this is your chance to see what all the hype is about. Food will also be coming from @blackcatpizzapa and @mrnickspgh — talk about the perfect lineup 🥨🍕🐓 Mark your calendars and bring the whole crew. 🎉 — And as for today — it’s Friday, which means doors open at 3pm for our weekly Happy Hour! Happy Monday, Blawnox! 🍻 We’ve got a big week ahead, so let’s dive in. Put these on your calendar: Survivor Night is this Wednesday from 8 to 9:30pm. Grab a pint, grab your crew, and come play along. Don’t miss it! The 6th Annual Bloxtoberfest is this Saturday! Our biggest party of the fall is almost here, and you really, REALLY do not want to miss this one. Save the date and bring everyone you know. 🍻 New this week on tap: Won’t Ask Twice | Belgian-style Pilsner | 5.5% abv We teamed up with our lifelong dawgs at @dancinggnome to celebrate their 10th anniversary, and this one is a true collab labor of love. Belgian Pilsner malted barley, French and Czech hops, and our house Lager yeast make it crisp, clean, and dangerously drinkable. Cheers to 10 years, DG fam! 🍻 Mild Stillage | English-style Mild | 3.8% abv A classic Mild brewed with Maris Otter and Chevallier Heritage malts, then hopped with East Kent Goldings. Expect soft notes of toffee, marmalade, and fresh bread. It’s easy-drinking, cozy, and perfect for fall. Both are tasting spectacular right now. Come hang out in the taproom and take home a couple of 4-packs of each while you’re at it. Tonight: @vicandnicalenas is joining us in Blawnox, slinging wood-fired pies from the truck. In case you were wondering — a rainy, gloomy Monday is best spent inside our cozy taproom with a fresh pint in hand and a burger and fries from @steerandwheel - we can’t think of a better way to start the week ☔️🍔 As mentioned last week, seasonal favorites are making their way back onto the board, and this week we’re kicking things off with a fantastic new lineup: Midnight Blue — American Porter, 7% ABV Brewed with Midwest-grown malted barley plus English caramel and chocolate malts. Dark, rich, and comforting — exactly what you want as the weather turns. Pastime Views — Czech Pilsner, 4.8% ABV A single-decoction pale lager brewed with Bohemian Pilsner floor-malted barley and Czech Saaz. A symphony of noble hops with notes of lemon blossom, honey, and fresh bread. On Cask: Pale Kingdom — Pale Ale, 5.5% ABV Double dry-hopped with Tropical Fusion from @freestylehops - As always, naturally carbonated and cask-conditioned. Talk about a stacked list of releases this week! 🤝 Survivor Night is back starting this Wednesday! Join us from 8–9:30pm for $1 off all alcoholic drinks. Happy Monday, Blawnox — welcome to Week 38! As we ease into a new week, we’re easing into a new season too, and that means it’s time for some seasonal favorites to make their way back onto the draft board. Three beers pouring starting today: Tall Tale — 7% ABV Midwest-Style IPA 🗝️ This one’s brand new — a collaboration with our friends at @carboncopyphilly in Philadelphia, PA. We went dank on this one, packing in Citra, Simcoe, Columbus Cryo, and New Zealand-grown Chinook hops. It’s a really special one and we can’t wait for you to try it. Endless Moon — 5.5% ABV Festbier 🍺 An old friend is back. Our German-style amber lager returns to celebrate Oktoberfest season, bringing clean toasted bread notes and a delicate, easygoing hop character. If you had it before, you know. If not, now’s your chance. Tri-Clamp TDH Dreams — 5.5% ABV Hazy Pale Ale 🥭 Something very exciting on cask this week. This Hazy Pale Ale goes through a three-stage dry-hop featuring early harvest Nelson Sauvin, fresh Nelson Sauvin cold-pressed hop juice, and early harvest Riwaka. Naturally carbonated and cask-conditioned — this is a special one to catch while it lasts. All three are pouring beautifully right now. On the food side, we’re kicking the week off right with @soulpasta_ in the taproom — the crew brings incredible pasta and we’re thrilled to have them back to start things off. It’s Wednesday. You’ve made it halfway. Treat yourself. Famous Dragons is on tap — our Florida Weisse loaded up with dragon fruit and passion fruit. It’s pink, it tastes like a tropical vacation you didn’t book but definitely deserve, and at 4.5% ABV you can treat yourself to two of them. 🐉 Also @pghtortas is rolling up out front tonight with their Mexican-style sandwiches, so don’t eat dinner beforehand. Happy Labor Day! Today’s a good one to raise a glass to hard work — to everyone who’s put in the hours this year, including our own amazing crew here in Blawnox. You all deserve this special day. 🤗 Our taproom will be operating with modified hours today, 12pm–6pm. Expect vibrant notes of the freshest tropical fruits. 🐉 Nitro Kingdom is back! 6.8% abv Our House IPA served exclusively on nitro — an ultra-creamy expression of False Kingdom. 💀👑 Both of these are absolute bangers and everything you need right now. Well, the storms last night meant business. We hope everyone’s roof, trees, and sanity made it through okay! Good news: we’ve still got power here in Blawnox.
