At 18th Street Art Center @18thstreetarts , we gathered for a powerful collective art installation and performance centered around the ritual assembly of a traditional Ukrainian Pavuk (Spider) — a sacred geometric structure symbolizing universal peace, balance, and unity.

🕸️ LA MUDPEOPLE performed the ceremonial assembly of the Pavuk. Natalie Kato, Dark Bob, Ryan Zin, Leilani Atkinson, Liza Holitsyna, Yelyzaveta Churilkina, Oleg Ivlev, Lali Bell, and LA MUDPEOPLE (Mike Mollett, Neal Taylor, Jeff Iorillo, Lorraine Perotta) each contributed unique pieces of the structure.

For three hours, Alina Kalinouskaya remained suspended in a spider’s web accompanied by live music from Lali Bell, who composed and performed an original song written specifically for this event.
Curated by Michael J. Masucci and Olena Yara @olena.yara , the event came together to remind us of the ongoing struggle in the war perpetrated by Russia against the free and democratic Ukrainian people — and of the resilience, unity, and creative force that persists despite it.

✨ Today, we offer a limited NFT release featuring original documentary photographs and video from the PAVUK installation and durational performance at the 18th Street Art Center in Santa Monica. These NFTs preserve the work as digital collectibles, and all proceeds will be donated to the Prytula Foundation to support its humanitarian programs.

"Глибина відчуттів"

Та багатошаровість яка огорнула це біле полотно, це спроба поринути у світи сповнені різноманітності сенсів, кольору та контрастів.

Різні кольори, як привід натякнути на внутрішню смислову конструкцію.

Слова спокушають полотно. І в танці говорять «багатослівність подій, як привід жити» - текст на полотні.

"Durability"

This work is about inner resilience, about the support that holds up external stimuli, and the desire to live.

Through internal drives and the combination of the right incentives, we create a resilient structure to overcome external obstacles.

The work was created in digital format.
