In the barebones stage of building on an idea that feels very transitional in ways that invoke an unveiling of my desired practice.

Which I want to be sad to say but the violence is ridiculous. I never felt in danger attending when I was younger, it sucks to see what it’s become…even today floats shutdown due to shooting 🤦🏽‍♀️

Happy to be home safe and have shared even just a small piece of my love for my culture.

We talked about how love is being found these days.. algorithms, profiles, quick decisions. What we’ve done together in 19 yrs didn’t come from matching… it came from moments like this. Conversations, growth, time. I didn’t give him all my love at once.. we built it in layers and showing up again and again. Grateful I chose him before everything became an instant. And even more grateful we keep choosing each other now. That part you can’t swipe into. by @olivegreen.mango

I am so incredibly proud of my baby sis for accomplishing her goal. Her tenacity to make good on promises made to herself in spite of the consistent hurdles is powerful beyond measure.

I’m manifesting warm sun not the cold with a hint or a dash or a sprinkle🤣💛

Yes it’s 10min, so be it 🤷🏽‍♀️

I’d like to think my wellness journey started when I chose to stop eating meat but truly it started with my mama. The woman who cooked from scratch 90% of the time. The woman who provided nourishment even when the taste was beyond me. She understood the assignment. Like BITTER MELON aka KARELA. She’s Guyanese, if you know you know.

She is truly my backbone to how I provide for my family and I love her tremendously for it!

Finding my pockets of sunlight and breadth in midst of literally everything opposite. @sade essentials has been on loop the past few days and this song was playing in the background at this moment. 💙💛💙

You can just feel the tension ready to explode. I refuse to be blind while also working to not be utterly consumed and hopeless….It does seem hopeless sometimes. United we stand, divided we fall is far from cliche. When the time comes will you be ready to link arms??? (A question for me too)

Had fun with this one, mix had that thunder appeal 😝

Yes I’m growing my hair out again yes haha. Decided back in February to stop chopping my sides then came that weird stage of it growing in while the center was long 😩

Rather than going to a barber and styling it along the way I did a big chop to even it out 🤦🏽‍♀️. I really love my knubs crown. She small and mighty now but in due time 😁!!

Eden asked to sit in the grass and so, we did. It dawned on me that today is the last sun kissed day and I need all that drip ☀️!

It was nice to break out of the normal routine and say yes 😮‍💨 …I know other moms can relate to the lineup of no’s just waiting to roll off the tongue 😂 because we are already thinking 10 steps ahead of the domino affect of that one yes. Remain present in the moment! by @olivegreen.mango
