Sure, sometimes I get lucky at like a random quick thrift trip, but unassuming sales & being vocal about what I want has brought me the best luck.🤍

I was so tempted to buy even more Rosemaling! I love it!! But I wanted to leave some for other treasure hunters & left my number to buy what they have leftover & take a look at more quilts after they find them in storage.🤍 by @oliviaalnes

I feel like the former owner is going to see this video & be like “huh, I guess that old quilt was worth something…” 🙃

If anyone else has some great quilts they need taken off their hands, I’m your girl! My favorite are actually the damaged ones that I can repurpose but gems like this are awesome too! I’ll use it as a photo backdrop & then probably sell it to make an extra payment on my student loans. by @oliviaalnes

🍂My fall literary inspired simmer pot scent is officially ready for orders & I need to tell you about a crazy goal I have.🍂

Last year, I was blown away by the love for literary inspired simmer pots (& holiday scents will be back later). They were such a great teacher gift and stocking stuffer and I sold 160 units. That was far beyond what I anticipated for a silly little idea to take my favorite classic literature and make a festive simmer pot inspired by the vibes.

This year my crazy goal is to sell 500.

Not because they’re going to make me rich or anything, but because they’re fun and I love seeing them bring a little spark of joy to fellow lit lovers!

I hope you love this fall scent! Inspired by my deep love of Anne, this was meant to give the classic fall scents of apple cinnamon with a romantic twist of rose buds and some local nods to Prince Edward Island with the rose hips and cranberries.

What’s your fav?! Seriously my husband took the kids for one morning & all my other sewing time was my usual nap/after bedtime and I got all this done! feeling back in the groove after taking a few days off to reset after a busy collection drop & pop up last week.

If you haven’t been to UC Hope in Glyndon yet, you need to make a trip! It’s a quick drive from Fargo-Moorhead and a fun vibe while supporting a very community driven thrift store. I can’t wait to see their fall items come in but I got in on their 75% off clothing items in the meantime! by @oliviaalnes

Happy National Thrift Shop day! I was able to hit up Savers, The Arc, and Goodwill to source some sweatshirts for my upcycling business! As much as I’m craving a bins trip to the cities, I’m thankful for our Fargo stores and no matter where you live, you can work with the options in your community!
