Am I too old to care what people think about me yet? Definitely getting there... 😆 by @oliviaelmiger

One hike, two cameras. Clearly, the camera loves me 😂 #360fail #insta360vsnikonz7 #360vsmirrorless by @oliviaelmiger

Back in school, I was always asked if we were sisters. Sometimes people would even confuse me for her. AND I HATED IT!!

At the time, I felt insulted to be mistaken for someone else, especially someone (in many ways) so very different from myself.

A couple weeks ago it happened again. Someone told me they'd seen me sing beautifully on stage, which is a thing that I know for a fact has never happened 😂

But today, all I feel is honored to be compared to and even mistaken for this talented, beautiful, incredibly kind and giving women.

She recently celebrated her birthday by throwing together a band and practicing for months to perform at this public, free event. What a STAR ✨️

I am blessed and thankful that I've been able to call you my friend for almost thirty years 🙏

Happy Birthday @akemimusic!!

(If you need live music for your event, definitely check her out 🙌🥰) by @oliviaelmiger

Is it weird that it felt both impossible and surprisingly easy? 🤔

2300m elevation gain, 1500m elevation loss, 22km distance travelled, most of it on hiking trails/alpine hiking trails, in 9.5h (5h moving time).

I'm definitely not a trailrunner, but quite happy with myself 🤩 And I would have lost less time if I didn't have to stop for stunning pictures every couple hundred metres 😂

Onwards and upwards, my friends! 🥰 Onto the next mountain! 🌄 by @oliviaelmiger

So hard to find good tenants these days 🤷‍♀️

I had a blast photographing some autumn moods with the wonderful @simoendli in #poschiavo 🥰 We'd been planning a visit to Lagh da Saoseo since last year and despite technical challenges, it was just as amazing as I'd hoped 🍂

I tried to make a reel in the style of @markfitzsimons and I think it kind of works, though it's a long way from his amazing creations. Was fun though! 😁

Favourite 1-6?
I was lucky on my first visit to the #kreuzberge: when skies are blue, all you get are different angles of your surroundings. But when there's wind and snatches of clouds, every time you look it's like you've teleported to another time and place. Especially in the mountains I often feel like I make a month's worth of memories in just a few hours.

Super schöni erschti Wanderig midem @alpenverein_li 🥰
Danke @wander_kathi für di fantastisch Wanderleitig ✨
@berggasthaus.staubern eui Chüeche sind gföhrlicher as jede Wanderwäg 🤤

About last month... ✨️
Portaits of South Africa

We define "portrait" as a picture of a person, but I'd like to argue that it should instead be defined as a picture of personality. And what has a personality? Most (?) people. Some animals. Someone's personal space. A country.

I loved getting to know South Africa's personalities. The people, the country, the animals, the soul. Traipsing through the red dust in Kyalami and Magaliesburg had me rediscover aspects of myself I had lost in hectic everyday life.

I'm glad to have met you, South Africa. Let's be friends 🥰 by @oliviaelmiger
