oh what a dream it was to serve and represent you, Champaign County!

this community, my family, friends, mentors, sponsors, makeup artists, hairstylists, photographers, pageant crew, and our incredible fair board are to be thanked for this once in a lifetime opportunity! (I wish I could post the billion pictures with everyone but know I’m so thankful for everyone I got to meet through this title!)

Esther 4:14 says “Perhaps you were made a queen for such a time as this” - I truly believe God had the most perfect plan when he gave me this opportunity and I hope I was able to shine his light. While my year of advocating for agriculture and serving our community while wearing the crown may be over, I’m excited to see where God takes me with the lessons I’ve learned, the relationships I’ve formed, and the person I have become. While I could count my blessings and write about this experience forever… I think winnie the pooh says it best- how lucky I am to have something that makes saying goodbye so hard.

I am so incredibly proud of all our miss and little miss contestants- you represented yourselves beautifully on stage! And finally a huge congrats to the next Champaign County Fair Royalty duo @sophie.hartke and Sloane Davis! I can’t wait to watch you shine!

a glimpse at the people and moments saved in my favorites folder 💛🖤

I think it’s finally settling in that I won’t be back at BHE this fall. It’s the people—my teammates, my best friends—that make goodbye hard. I’m beyond grateful for two years spent competing alongside amazing teammates, being part of the best industry, and learning from legends!

Thank you to my coaches for the time and dedication you poured into helping us get better every day 💛

As one chapter closes, I’m excited to see what the next one holds in MHK. But I’ll miss these people more than I can put into words 🥺 taken in Black Hawk College East Campus by @oliviashike

Don’t be surprised when you walk through fire—rejoice, because God is doing a refining work (from 1 Peter 4:12–13).

…and the only explanation is God did it 🤍
