@ronordicspa has arrived in Edmonton.

I got to preview the space a few weeks back and it was everything I hoped it would be.
Opening any business is not easy and I’m super proud of what these fellas have achieved.

This place is a vibe and it’s been so great to see it come to life and then experience it first hand.

The addition of a hut tub is a great touch, maybe we need one @thegoodsauna ?

Do yourself a favour and go and check it out this weekend.

@turfliving hosted us for a community workout at the new spot on Main Street and it was an absolute time.

We gave out 30 spots to people in the local community, got sweaty with @karleygill , had some post workout hangs and got to sit down with @lauchlandlee and find out how this place came to life.

Mount Pleasant just got a new community hangout and you’ll definitely see us there, working on our coordination skills.

Thank you to @nodayswastedco for proving some post class hydration and Turf for welcoming us in with open arms.

So we had to find out what all the fuss was about.
And after meeting co-founders Vincent and Ameli, we get it.

Great Vietnamese food, cocktails that mean business, loads of veggie options and hospitality that genuinely feels like you’ve been invited to the family dinner.

Whether it’s date night, business lunch, or an elevated celebration, this crew has gotchu.

Great clothing, designed right here in Vancouver.

@heldinform are a local label doing things their own way, and ahead of their FW26 launch, they invited us into their studio to get a first look at the new collection.

Creative Director @raelandmendoza sat down with @ollness to talk design choices, favourite details, and what to expect at this Friday’s launch party at @gravitypope in Gastown.

Meet @mariaceleste.yvr the newest addition to Fraser Street’s growing food scene.

Founded by brothers Justin and Christian, this place is deeply rooted in their Portuguese upbringing, from the family photos and traditional details throughout the space to the food itself.

Christian’s menu takes you on a journey through different regions of Portugal, from the coast to the farmlands, while Justin pairs it with some of his favourite Portuguese wines.

Thoughtful, authentic, and deeply connected to home.

They’ve only been open for a few months, but getting a table is already getting tough.

We went to meet the congregation at @hailmaryseastvan

Tucked into the Fraserhood, Hail Mary’s is a neighbourhood bar with a whole lot of religious memorabilia, a loyal East Van crowd, good pub food and plenty of opportunities to repent.

Come for the righteous decor, stay for the nachos, burgers, cocktails and local beers.

17 years of good design, great art & even better people in Cambie Village.

@walrushome has been holding it down in @cambievillage for over 17 years.

Deep in Vancouver’s design community, we got to chat with Caroline about her role hosting @pechakuchavancouver the ethos behind good art and design, lifting up local creatives, and creating community through engaging events.

@designvanfest starts this week, with PechaKucha’s biggest event yet on September 17th at the Queen Elizabeth Theatre.

10 speakers. 6 minutes each. A whole lot of creativity.

A diverse group of speakers from across different creative mediums will share their origins, what inspires them, and the stories behind their work.

It’s a chance to celebrate the community and hear from some of the creative minds shaping the city.

There’s a lot going on during Design Vancouver festival, including a special event at Walrus on September 27th, celebrating 17 years of creativity and community with 11 of their favourite artists.
