This week's Leadership Lessons comes from Drew Gladwell (@olujimi), General Manager at Hawksmoor (@hawksmoorrestaurants).

When we ask managers in our workshops to name someone who's influenced the way they lead, Drew's name comes up all the time. Maybe it's because he always keeps his calm. Maybe it's because he has a gift for helping people connect their day-to-day work to a bigger purpose. Whatever it is - it works. People genuinely love working with Drew, and the impact he's had on others is impossible to ignore.

So we thought it would be rude not to ask him: What's a leadership lesson you wish you'd learned sooner?

His answer is a brilliant reminder that great leadership isn't about having all the answers. It's about creating an environment where other people can thrive.

Thank you, Drew, for sharing your wisdom with us and for being the kind of leader people remember long after they've worked with you. by @olujimi
