Today I wanted to take a moment to talk about perspectives. The thought came because over the last few days I have experienced some anxiety feeling that the world is moving forward while I am on a loop. I was feeling all of these feelings, struggling to feel at peace and then one of the magical moments of motherhood happened. I snapped in the now. I looked at her. At how tall and grown up she is and I realised that she is not even three yet. Not even three years of this life, of this experience of a lifestyle. And then all the anxiety dropped to the floor and vanished. Because not even three years of my lifetime is “so little” and is “everything” to her.

So while I am feeling that I am left behind and the world is moving on, she is feeling cared and loved and she tells her dad that her mom is beautiful while I put her baby brother to bed. These moments shift everything in the way I see my day-to-day, my productivity, mi obra.

So please world, do move forward. Challenge me to stay “still and quiet” in my motherhood, because there are so many teachings and wisdom to be learned right here. So many things of value that will come with me to the next experiences. And I do hope to all of us that are feeling anxious because something is being done by someone somewhere, please just slow down and appreciate the value of what you are doing. It matters. by @omblinus

This is how I celebrated my 30s squatting in the sand with the family. It was perfect. BOUNDLESS thanks to all of you who sent me memory stories of our time together in the studio. Reading and hearing of those time we shared together meant so much to me, I don’t really know how to express my thankfulness. Reading your words, listening to your voices,… it brought me to what I love about my work and it sparked so much clarity as to who I am and what it is that I do. I don’t know if this happens to more people but I feel sometimes working in the creative industry, I get confuse about what I do/what I want to do/what people suppose I should do. I am also a multi-layered person and sometimes that gets confusing. Thank you so much for taking the time and help me remember or help me discover myself again. It really was an awesome gift for my birthday.

Ps: getting in touch even when we haven’t spoken in years or months is awesome. We live in a crazy world and we cross so many people it is hard and totally not healthy to try and keep up with everyone. Just know I loved to read from you and that it gave me a chance to hit you back and know a bit more about where you are at.

Abrazote grande. by @omblinus

This season we wanted to honour our team for all their hardwork and special talents. Freezone is an organisation led from the heart by a tight-knit group of very special individuals.

Over the next ten days we will share the unique superpower that lives in each of us, these qualities that make Freezone daring, human, creative, and just a bit absurd.
.

✨Today we’re very happy to introduce Ombline Huvelle, our Assistant Director and Rehearsal Director of @freebodies_bcn.

She is our pusher-carer. She is an expert at bringing the best out of people, guiding them out of their comfort zone and deeper into their body and creativity. She firmly believes that the work and investment you put into your life outside the studio is reflected in your craft inside it.

One superpower at a time: 2/9 portrait

We hope you dance.✨

Let’s rewind to the unforgettable journey of our @freebodies_bcn 24·25 cast — opening the curtain with the short film created under the direction of Ombline Huvelle and Nicolas Clausen. 🎞️

“WALKNESS”
