Jeremy Baumann this goes out to you

One week ago, I finished up day two of my LifePlan—facilitated by Jeremy Baumann.

A little context—
I loved my life the week before last
AND
God is the God of Ephesians 3:20-–the beyond all we could ask or imagine God.

Mine is not an unexamined life but heading into LifePlan time I was feeling a little Megs-lite. I turned 56 in March and was reeling from how that might have happened when all of a sudden we were stories deep into the fever dream of that very life and it felt like we were mining me, somehow: answering questions I didn’t know needed asking. God is like that.

All the way down these long abandoned passages in this remarkable excavation, I felt celebrated, seen, known—like those were lamps lighting The Way.

It was like sitting in the back of the wardrobe and you hear about this Lion.

When we were done and rolling up the plan, I felt waymore…myself.

Lion-like.

I’ve been described as a spiritual sniper over the years and I would say Lifeplan work sharpened that—my—aim.

Lion-like—that Whose and Who I am Aim and just what it is I’m to be doing here. Affirming. Assuring. Lighter and weightier.

So..if you need some help seeing YOU— appreciating and discovering your own strange and marvelous heart: please reach out to Jeremy and see if it’s a fit for you.

It probably is.

I will tell you: Jeremy brings a rare gentleness of wisdom and a way of asking LifePlan questions that makes you feel safe and special in a process that is by its design, vulnerable.

You love your neighbor as yourself and I believe the LifePlan work that I did with Jeremy Baumann was a tremendous “as” kicking—a pivot point and a truly remarkable way to get the help you may not know you need to more genuinely love yourself.

Your people will thank you.

Reach out. Treat it like a symbolic and a sacred act—which it surely is. You are worth the time and the investment.

And I can tell your without hesitation: Jeremy and Lifeplan are, too.

That little bike rider in the fade came up on my feed last wk and has been haunting me a little a few times a day with the whole—
“There she goes…”

Two years after that first bike ride seen here in the fade, Tess, 7, was asked if she could be anyone, who would she be?

She said, If I could be anyone,

I would be me.

If we could’ve designed a daughter:

it would be her.

She is this remarkable picture of Ephesians 3:20—this kind and generous girl with a lit up Yankee stadium smile as her Papa would say and that ever-including heart.

What a treasure she is.
Wherever she is or will be.

Today around 11 that will be Drake University and we are so proud of and excited for wherever she will take this hurting world.

So if our music is a little louder these days, please understand it’s not to drown out the silence—it’s to join in the song clear down off University
