Congratulations @vicmensa on your release today! Nothing makes me happier than to see how you have evolved as an artist and I am so grateful to have been part of such an important album! You are one of the best to ever do it. How you so prominently and powerfully represent the culture assures your place in music history! I’m honored to call you a friend. taken in Selma and Argyle by @ommaskeith

Repost from @fraim.world Sa-Ra: The Magicians Behind the Scenes

Sa-Ra Creative Partners helped expand the sound of 2000s hip-hop and R&B from behind the scenes. Their production and individual credits connect Jurassic 5 and Pharoahe Monch with major albums by JAY-Z, Erykah Badu, Frank Ocean and Kendrick Lamar.

After 16 years without a group album, Taz Arnold, Shafiq Husayn and Om’Mas Keith are active together again. Since returning in December 2025, the trio has released nine singles built from the funk, jazz, soul and electronic music that always separated Sa-Ra from its peers

Who wants to be a part of it?
Last year we hosted a masterclass on AI, music and Film storytelling.

This year I’m speaking at a bunch of events, and we’re planning a music bootcamp for musicians and creatives.

Let me know if you will be on the island and what we can cook up together in August. #marthasvineyard #oakbluffs #fortheculture #grammy #kingwillonius taken in Oak Bluff, Martha's Vineyard by @ommaskeith
