I’m truly proud of the path I’ve taken. And not just because my salon grew from a tiny room into a business with a large team and a fully booked schedule — but because of how much I’ve grown along the way, too.

Building a salon is not only about clients, hiring, service, marketing, or numbers. It’s also about how your mindset evolves as your business grows. It’s about learning how to handle responsibility, make difficult decisions, move through chaos, mistakes, and burnout — and still keep going.

And it doesn’t matter whether you already have a large team or you’re still just dreaming about opening your own salon — don’t underestimate the stage you’re in right now.

No one starts out knowing how to build systems, lead a team, and carry the weight of a business. Those things are learned through experience, hard decisions, mistakes, and growth. So if things feel heavy right now, it doesn’t mean you’re failing — it usually means you’ve grown into a level of responsibility you’ve never had before ❤️

Why is everyone using that foam??? 👀🫧

There’s no magic in my “magic foam”—it’s just micellar water in a foaming bottle 😂

Some nail techs add alcohol or oil. I personally don’t—it works perfectly fine for me on its own.

So what’s it actually for? To help remove leftover filing dust from the nail folds and leave the cuticle area and fingers looking fresh before taking photos

Unlike oil, it doesn’t leave that greasy, shiny finish. Just clean skin that looks moisturized and a manicure ready for its close-up

For years I wished I had someone I could call and just say, “This is happening. What would you do?”

Someone who actually gets salons. Employees, clients, numbers, and all the weird problems that come with this business.
