Happy National Siblings Day! I could write a book explaining how much I love my siblings and cherish and sometimes resent - if we being real - the duty that comes with being an older sister. I wouldn’t trade these 5 for the world. They make me smile, keep me motivated, and make me feel accepted as me, no faking, no keeping up appearances. They get the rarest version of me there is. And they still ride for your girl. I love you all so much and thank God he gave all six of us to mommy and daddy (rip). We belong together, real bad.

Always hug your people close. Nothing in this life lasts forever.

Dad, I miss you.

There is indeed a version of my grief that no one sees.
It’s lonely here, even though I’m not alone.
I’m not okay. I don’t know if I ever will be.

Ten years is a long time to push; a long time to fight the urge to go numb. But I’ll keep pushing. I’ll keep fighting, even when it feels like I’m losing steam.

Like yours, my soul remains unconquerable.

Daddy, we miss you more than words can say. Christmases and holidays have never been the same without you. Losing you was one of the hardest things we’ve ever faced, but your absence has also brought us closer as a family in ways we didn’t expect. Out of that pain, we’ve created new traditions, like taking photos together every year—something I wish we had done more of when you were here.

When you passed away, I was heartbroken. I grieved not just because you were gone but also because I didn’t have many photos or videos to look back on. At first, I thought that was a blessing—it meant fewer reminders to bring me to tears. But now, I cherish the few precious memories I have: the video of you at African Night at UGA, watching me perform, and the voicemails I’ve saved, where I can still hear your voice. I replay them whenever I need to feel close to you.

Your loss will always hurt, but the love that remains in our family has been a balm to that pain. Happy belated birthday, Daddy (12/23). We pray you’re resting in perfect peace, watching over us as we strive to honor your legacy. I know you would have looked so dashing in this year’s photo shoot theme—denim and white. 29th Birthday Trad Party Recap!! Save to say that a time was TRULY had 😌. This was such an emotional night for me. Getting to dance and vibe out with those who came really made me happy. Everyone who knows me knows that I had never planned anything this big in my life and to pull it off truly was amazing and I just want to thank God 🙏🏿.
