I'm so proud of this guy! 🥹 When I first met Aaron, he was struggling to get around a pump track. Now he's flying down hills, and a staple in the local MTB community. One thing never changed, and that's his overwhelming drive to bring out his inner child and always having as much fun as possible. He puts in the work to refine his skills and has lost a huge amount of weight in the process. He gets it, and always has from day one. The goal is HAVING FUN! That's something that a large portion of the MTB community has lost so it's incredibly refreshing to see someone who radiates this much joy and doesn't care what people think about it. I'm honored to be involved in his journey as a coach, and I'm so grateful we finally got to ride together again. Keep going Aaron! @demon.cycles @cheffy.lewis by @onboardwithben

The past month and a half has been a grind! 😤 I rolled my ankle really bad at work and ended up with a chip fracture. I went straight into rehab mode by keeping my fitness up, protecting the joint by wearing the boot, elevation + compression, and doing ALL the rehab to a tea. It turns into a part time job, but that dedication got me to the 3 month expected timeline of strength and mobility from the specialist down to a month and a half. I'm still rehabbing, but back to normal function! Injuries are really annoying and can take the wind out of your sails completely, but you gotta have the discipline to switch from performance mode to rehab mode in order to get back to where you wanna be. The doc gave me the advice to be smart, choose exercises carefully, take your time by listening to how your body responds, and get as much blood flow and stretching done within those boundaries as you can without causing damage. Got wadded up while riding Creekside blind for the 1st time 😂 This is the most underrated and one of the best in Steamboat. It's a black XC trail that you can access from the Flying Diamond/Rawhide intersection after a quick fire road bomb, and then ends in the neighborhood just outside the park. Then, it's an easy pedal to the start of Wrangler Gulch. I could go back and forth between this and Rawhide all day! I'll definitely be riding it a lot more on the next trip to learn the lines and get up to speed 🤘 taken in Steamboat Springs, Colorado by @onboardwithben

The 1st test of the GoPro Mission 1 went really well! These are difficult lighting conditions to deal with, and you can definitely see an upgrade in how it performs in both keeping detail in bright spots as well as better low light performance taken in Steamboat Springs, Colorado by @onboardwithben

It's YOU, Not the Bike EP: 2 - Foothills Trail I'm riding Front Range Enduro trails on my dirt jumper to show that the rider is much more important than the setup. This is a trail that runs from South of Maxwell up to the North Eastern corner of Horsetooth, and it has some of the most awkward tech in the area in sections near the CSU Foothills Campus. It's super underrated, and it's much more difficult than you'd expect. I upped tire pressures from 45/50 to 50/55 to help with the sharper rocks compared to Hall, but I felt like I was riding on basketballs so I'm going back down for episode 3 😂 Shout-out to @overlandmtb for the recent trail work!
