Okay, I know the majority of my friends & family on here are probably NOT my fellow fantasy book nerds 🙈 but I know there are a few of you hiding out there!👀✨

For anyone who doesn’t know, I run a book club over on Fable and we have such a fun little group over there. 🖤 It’s grown from just little old me to over 150 people now. Some are local personal friends and many are friends I’ve made in the online bookish community and we read together, chat throughout the book, share theories, reactions, and just have a blast “reading together”. It truly does make the reading experience so much for fun! 😍

We’re wrapping up our September read, The Poison Daughter, right now and voting is up for our next book! 📊

Happy 11th birthday to our oldest boy!💙🎉

I truly don’t know what we did right to be blessed with a kid like you, but I thank God every single day that He chose us to be your parents.🥹

You are respectful, responsible, helpful, caring, loving… and somehow you do pretty much everything we ask without complaining or talking back.❤️ You have the biggest heart, especially when it comes to your brothers and sister, and watching how deeply you love and care for them makes me so incredibly proud.

You’ve always been my big teddy bear — the sweetest, most loving kid with the gentlest heart. 🥹 I hope you always know just how special you are and how proud we are of the young man you’re becoming.

11 years of loving you, and somehow I’m more proud of you every year. 💙 We love you more than you’ll ever know.

Cub Scout season is back in swing and look — our cousins joined us!🥰💙💛 Our kids can’t wait to show them the ropes and go on camping adventures together! Just need some of that cooler weather first! Fun evening racing our annual Rain Gutter Regatta’s ⛵️💨 Grayson won out of the Wolves and Gunner won out of the Webelos. All the den champs then competed and Grayson took 3rd (but if he asks, he thinks he got 2nd!🥈😉🤫) by @onceuponamama9

Yesterday we celebrated Sadie & Grayson’s birthday with their friends at Main Event and I think we’re all still recovering. 😆

25 kids + bowling + laser tag + an arcade = exactly the level of chaos you’d expect. 🤪🎳🎮 Things were wild and crazy from start to finish, but Sadie & Grayson had an absolute BLAST and seeing those smiles made every bit of the madness worth it! 🥰

My heart is just so full thinking about how many wonderful friends and family showed up to celebrate these 2. We are so incredibly thankful for the people in our lives who love our kiddos just as hard as we do. 🥹❤️

Happy 7th Birthday Sadie & Grayson! 🥳🎂💗💙

SEVEN. How are we already here?! 🥹 It feels like just yesterday I was holding two tiny babies in my arms, and now I have two big 7-year-olds with the biggest personalities who keep us laughing, busy, and on our toes every single day.

Sadie, my sweet, sassy, softball-loving girl with a heart as big as her personality. 💕 And Grayson, my funny, adventurous, tender-hearted boy who always keeps us laughing. 💙 You two may have shared a birthday from the very beginning, but you have each grown into your own incredible little person, and getting to watch it happen has been one of the greatest joys of my life.

Being your mom is loud, chaotic, exhausting, hilarious, and more fun than I ever could’ve imagined. I wouldn’t trade a second of it. 🥹

Meet the Teacher night is officially behind us, and somehow we’re already here again. 🥹🍎

There’s just something about watching the kids eagerly search for their classroom, meet their new teacher, and then immediately take off down the halls looking for last year’s teachers to say hi. The hugs, the smiles, the excitement… it reminds me every year how lucky we’ve been with the incredible teachers at BBE. They have truly loved my babies well.

This year was bittersweet, though. It was Grant’s last Meet the Teacher night in elementary school, and I’m having a hard time wrapping my head around that. It feels like yesterday we were walking him into kindergarten.🥹

Now we’re kicking off another year with a 5th grader, a 4th grader, and two 2nd graders. Time, could you slow down just a little? ❤️

Here’s to another year of learning, growing, and making memories. Let’s do this! ✏️📚

One of the best things books have ever given me isn’t just the stories—it’s the friendships. 🩷

A few years ago, if you had told me some of my closest friends would be women I met through an online book club, I probably would’ve laughed. But now? We talk from the minute we wake up until we go to bed. Yes, we spend a ridiculous amount of time ranting about books😉, but we’ve also walked through motherhood, stressful days, exciting moments, and all the little in-between parts of life together. I truly don’t know what I’d do without them.

We decided to do a Christmas in July Secret Santa, and @cait143140 absolutely knocked it out of the park! Every single gift was so me, and I’m absolutely obsessed with every gift!🥹

@teaandtales26 deserves a huge shoutout too for organizing the exchange and for being one of the people who keeps our little corner of the internet so fun. Between the two of them, there’s never a dull moment. 😜🙈

And because they know me that well… one of my gifts was a set of ACOTAR-inspired car fresheners. 😂 Let me just say… Rhysand smells exactly how I imagined he would, and I’m not accepting any arguments. 🥵 #IYKYK

To top it all off, Caitlin recently got to meet the incredible authors of the Beasts of the Briar series (which we’re currently all 3 buddy reading together!) and surprised me with a signed bookplate for my copy. That was such an incredibly thoughtful surprise!😍

Friendship doesn’t always happen with the people you’ve known the longest. Sometimes it starts with a shared love of fictional men with questionable morals, magical powers, and—bonus points—bat wings. 👀😆🖤

Shouting out a huge THANK YOU to Hey Hey Lemonade! 🍧🍋

Last month, Team Chaos was lucky enough to win the Hey Hey Lemonade giveaway competition, and last night they came out and treated all of our girls and coaches to FREE snow cones after practice! 🥳

Not only were they incredibly easy and wonderful to work with, but we absolutely love seeing local businesses pour back into our community the way they do. After a HOT evening on the field, those snow cones brought some very big smiles to some very happy girls. 🥰🥰

We also want to thank every single person who took the time to comment, share, and support us during their giveaway! Your support helped make this fun experience possible for our team. 🫶🏻

This season has been filled with so many incredible memories, and it wouldn’t have been possible without the amazing people who have rallied behind these girls. Happy Father’s Day to the man who wears more hats than anyone I know—and somehow makes it look easy.

He’s our Mr. Fix-It, always finding a way to repair whatever life throws at us. He’s a coach who pours his heart into helping kids grow, a Cub Master creating memories they’ll never forget, and the most incredible husband and best friend I could ask for.

But his most important role is being Dad. The love, patience, guidance, and example he gives our four kids every day is something they’ll carry with them for the rest of their lives. They are so lucky to have a father who shows up for every game, every adventure, every challenge, and every milestone.

Our family is stronger, happier, and better because of him. We truly don’t know what we’d do without him.
