Starting a brand is damn hard. I’ve been working on One of XX for about a year now. Making the clothes is only a small part of it. I’m constantly pitching stores, driving around Europe, making videos, trying things, getting ignored, trying again. Stores are careful with new brands. Online, you’re competing with thousands of brands and huge advertising budgets. The reality is pretty simple: by the end of this year, this brand needs to start making enough money to keep going. I believe in what we’re making. Clothes made from what already exists, in small numbered runs, instead of producing more and more new stuff. So I’m going to keep trying. Maybe posting my pitch on the internet helps. Who knows. Let’s go. by @one.of.xx

Finishing up an amazing production trip in Portugal! 🇵🇹🔥 Getting everything ready for our November 1st drop and some surprise drops throughout the month! 4 new everyday tees, 2 photo tees, 1 cut-up crewneck, 2 zip hoodies and 3 cut-up raglan tees. All made from amazing deadstock fabrics! But the biggest discovery? 3700 KILOS of luxury deadstock fabric! Originally produced for one of the biggest fashion houses in Paris. The quality is just insane! I’ve got a whole box full of fabric swatches for upcoming drops throughout next year. Most fabrics are only available in small quantities, so everything will be quite limited. I’m super grateful for everyone helping me with all of this. Working with such small quantities is really not normal for factories, so I appreciate all the flexibility and support! I don’t speak a word of Portuguese, but somehow we always manage to understand each other. A lot of smiling, waving and talking with our hands 😂❤️ Working my ass off and enjoying every second of it!
