During the completion of his postgraduate Masters study focusing on club culture and nighttime economies, Freddie forged a distinctive path in Aotearoa club music playing some of the top clubs and festivals in the country, including Beacon Festival (@friendlypotential) and Twisted Frequency (@twistedfrequencyfestival).
Since moving to Naarm he’s refocused his time to the studio releasing two EPs, a string of singles and remixes for the likes of Miss Rose Valentina (@missrosevalentina) with more output slated for release.

@1_800privatedriver has carved out a distinctive place for himself in the Aotearoa music scene over the last 7 years.
His most recent live recording (under former alias Uber Driver) from the main stage of Twisted Frequency Festival was heralded as “one of the best sets of the festival” by those in attendance. Played support for: Marcellus Pittman, Pinch, Ross From Friends, Borrowed CS, Benny Salvador, Surly, and DJ Boring.
Through his label Racquet Club he’s overseen seven main label releases, hosted internationals such as Kush Jones, Marcellus Pittman, Chaos in the CBD, Al Wootton, & Loefah.
