WHEN DOTS DREAM
Where a dot becomes a thought,
a line becomes a rhythm,
and fabric becomes a memory.

Inspired by the visual language of Yayoi Kusama, this workshop explored repetition, rhythm, texture and form through an experimental process of making. Fabric, thread, found materials and everyday objects became tools for creating new visual narratives—moving from the surface of the canvas into sculptural and tactile forms.
Each work reflects a personal interpretation of dots: sometimes playful, sometimes rhythmic, sometimes fragmented, but always open to imagination.

A look back at DARK MATTER.

Held at Gallery Onkaf in December 2025, Dark Matter brought together diverse artistic voices through artist books, photography, drawing, collage, and experimental forms.

An exploration of the unseen — where darkness became a language for memory, emotion, identity and imagination.

Through different mediums and perspectives, the exhibition invited us to pause, look closer and discover what often remains unseen.

N FLUX by Anna Krzeminska-Baoni explores the space between formation and dissolution — where the body meets landscape, structure becomes sign and forms continuously emerge, shift and disappear.

Through sketch-like gestures, unfinished forms and evolving marks, Anna Krzeminska-Baoni reflects on transformation as an ongoing process — where nothing truly ends, but simply takes another shape.

There's something about walking through a gallery that I really enjoy - the experience changes as you move. At ONKAF Gallery, I found myself looking at the works from different distances and different angles.

Some details revealed themselves only when I came closer; others came together when I stepped back and looked at the work within the larger space.

I loved discovering the relationship between painting, artistic textiles and batik, and the recurring ideas of symbols, nature and the human form in the work of Polish artist Anna Krzemińska-Baoni. The more I looked, the more I noticed.

And perhaps that's one of my favourite things about art - you don't always have to understand everything immediately. Sometimes you just look, pause, question and let the work stay with you.

I also loved the conversation with Sharad Chauhan, who walked us through the exhibition - his perspective shifted how I was reading the work.

An evening of art, conversations and new encounters marked the opening of IN FLUX at Gallery ONKAF.

Featuring the works of Anna Krzeminska-Baoni, IN FLUX explores transformation, memory and the shifting spaces between body, nature, structure and sign through painting and textile works.

We were honoured to welcome H.E. Piotr Antoni Switalski, Charge d’Affaires a.i., Republic of Poland in India, for the inauguration, held under the Honorary Patronage of the Polish Institute New Delhi.
