Adidas x SNS GT 'NYC' 2022

Deep Brown/Dark Brown/Gold Metallic

New York, the Meatpacking District and Adidas. This one is a nod to the neighbourhood where SNS opened its first US store in 2017, with the area's old-school meatpacking history and brown brick buildings helping shape the look of this shoe. Even the campaign got in on it, with artist @steveespopowers recreating old butcher shop signs and posters from the area. Another one ticked off the SNS GT list. New York done… onto the next one. 🇺🇸🤎🖤🤎

Adidas x End. Spezial Bauhaus 2023

Hazy Blue/Navy/Team Yellow

“Form follows function” — basically, if it doesn’t need to be there, get rid of it. The Bauhaus school (1919-1933) made simplicity, geometry and function the name of the game, changing design forever in the process. That same philosophy is written all over these — clean, purposeful and beautifully stripped back. No unnecessary bells and whistles… just clever design doing exactly what it’s supposed to do.

A proper massive shout-out to @sneakerprofiler for putting these back on my radar! 👊🏻😎 He’s done a brilliant write-up on these, and as always, you can tell he’s put the work in and actually done his research. There’s a lot more to these than just what you see on the shelf, and he digs into that history. Do yourself a favour and head over to his post and have a read — and check out his blog while you’re there for even deeper knowledge around these rare beauties.... properly researched, and always worth your time.

Adidas New York 2025

Dark Blue/Footwear White/Team Royal Blue

Being 9/11 today, I thought it was only fitting to post a pair of New Yorks. Obviously, the name of a trainer is nothing compared to what that date means, but it felt like a small nod to a city that suffered such unimaginable tragedy.
The Adidas New York has always been one of my favourite City Series silhouettes. Simple, low, clean... a proper classic. So... A little bit of trainer history and a little nod to New York today... felt like the right pair to post. 🗽👊🏻💙🩵🤍

There’s something about this retro silhouette that I just bloody love — and yes, I know… another pair. This time I wanted to have a bit more fun with the restoration and go with some new-season colours. A slightly different direction for me, but I reckon these have come out pretty fucking cool. Funny how I keep finding excuses to buy another pair… purely for “research”, obviously.

(Re-dyed using Lilac suede dye and stripe recolour using South Beach acrylic leather paint all from @angeluspaintuk and finished with fresh mint round laces from @biglacesuk)

I’ll be honest, these TRX' gave me a bit of a headache. There’s a few bits I’m not 100% happy with, so I wouldn’t put this down as my best work, but once I stepped back and looked at them properly, I think they've come out pretty decent. Sometimes you’ve just got to know when to stop tinkering — and I think I got away with this one 💜🤍🩵

Adidas x LuisaViaRoma L.A. Trainer OG 2026

Brown/Black/Purple

Old-school adidas with a bit of Italian seasoning 🇮🇹🤌🏻 The L.A. Trainer started life in the early ’80s as a proper running shoe, became a terrace favourite, and now @luisaviaroma have given it a rather tasty black and brown makeover with just enough purple to cause trouble. Same OG DNA, just dressed in a beautifully tailored pinstripe Italian suit for 2026🖤🤎💜

Adidas Orion 2021

Royal Blue/Solar Yellow/Solid Grey

The adidas Orion —a running shoe with a pretty amazing story behind it. Terry Fox wore Orions during his 1980 Marathon of Hope, with @adidasoriginals supplying him with 26 pairs for his incredible run across Canada... What makes it even more incredible is that be run it on an artificial right leg for 3,339 miles over 143 days! 😱👟🇨🇦
Fast forward 40-odd years and Adidas brought the Orion back and rightly so. A proper retro pair with loads of character. A bit of history, a bit of nostalgia, and a very welcome addition to the collection. 💙💛🩶

Another Forest Grove restoration. These ones turned up needing a little TLC, but it didn't take much to get them back on their feet. Bright red, full of character and about as subtle as a brick through a window. Safe to say they'll be stealing the spotlight again. ♥️❤️🤍

CHECK LAST SLIDES FOR ORIGINAL CONDITION!!! 👀

The adidas New York was built for the city, but these ones found themselves taking a little detour into the wild. Restored and back where they belong. This pair cleaned up better than I expected, and that mint detailing against the grey and dyed black suede hits harder then it did on day release. A little bit of patience, a little bit of suede therapy, and another pair saved from the sidelines. Turns out, all they needed was a spa day and a second chance 🖤🩶🩵
