Eight days under the desk not necessarily in this order; there is no celebrity hype or manufactured history here. I’m into mostly runners from 1972–1980 —some ‘80s designs can also find themselves laced under my desk— with lotsa love for the Herzogenaurach (HERZO) brands. Clarks and Saucony are in the mix this rotation.

Let’s go to work.

1) adidas SL72 x Ksenia Schnaider.

2) PUMA Palermo x Mad Dog Jones.

3) Clarks Desert Trek 50th Anniversary.

4) adidas SL72 x Noah NY.

5) Saucony Jazz ‘81 x Packer Shoes.

6) adidas SL76 x Wales Bonner.

7) Saucony Jazz ‘81 x Footpatrol.

8) adidas BW RUN x The Whitaker Group.

BUCKETLISTS.

Here’s a photo taken on a short adventure a few summers ago. We were always curious about (Guess Where)—The Missus because of vampire and zombie lore; and me due to my Caribbean roots.

On-feet: The adidas Superstar Humanrace PK ‘Patchwork Pack’.

The graf in the area is amazing. We always enjoy walking semi-aimlessly when we travel and discovering things just like the piece behind me. It’s a perfect example of what commUNITY art does better than any of the stunning work that is locked away in a gallery, home, and/or museum.

small luxuries: SNEAKERS by my solebrother @nickengvall of @sneakerhistory fame arrived in the post yesterday. It’s a beautiful piece of very personal literary art. Nick has been in the for ~2 decades, and it appears he’s just getting started. Congratulations, brother. You made it to the SNKRPRFLR library of laced-love. This is one helluva publishing debut. It’s gonna be a series, brother?

Humbled to have been interviewed by him for the podcast and Proud to count him among my Tribespeople. Support Nick and @quartobooksus Order this one today. Get in there. March and September are the biggest months of the year for your friendly neighborhood SneakerProfiler.

We celebrate my arrival and mourn my father’s 2025 departure during the month that marks the End of Nature’s Slumber and the start of Nature’s Awakening.

September hits different.

In the month of Nature’s Harvest, we celebrate the arrivals of the PrincessProfiler, Stic Stanko, and the Missus in one week. At the beginning of the following week (today), we celebrate my father’s arrival. I just learned that this month and day also further connect me to my HerzoFam. It’s a small world after all @just.in.puma

I’m grateful to the person with the instinct to snap this shot of me in my father’s arms. It’s -perhaps- my favorite childhood image to Appreciate. See you soon (in the ether) ||| PEACE | LOVE | SNEAKERS ||| #sneakersopher #sneakersophy #herzofam #herzogang #herzolove
