Worth a forever post to highlight the genius of @esdevlin and @homofaber (the worlds largest craft exhibition) which I was thrilled to visit today on an island off of Venice.
The historic buildings are gorgeous the grounds are gorgeous the design of the exhibitions is out of this world with musical accompaniments that are so beautiful you can cry. Needless to say I loved it.
Thank you @homofaber for a gorgeous experience.

Every Labor Day for the last five years we de-install our show and we re-set Onna House with pieces from our permanent collection. Even though we’re not open regular hours in the off season we want the house to look perfect for any surprise guests or art and architecture groups who want to visit.

We love the pieces we’ve acquired over the years and it always makes us happy when they return. This Mitsuko Asakura was the first piece we bought for the gallery. We opened Onna House with a whole exhibition of her work which I was introduced to by my friend @fabiennestephan from @salon94. It was a gorgeous show and Mitsuko arrived in full Kimono dress. I love her work so much. Today she is represented by @salon94 and great collectors have these mesmerizingly beautiful textile pieces in their homes.

Thank you again to our community of artists and collectors who help Onna House thrive.
Hope to see you all this fall at Onna House SoHo and stayed tuned for news of an exciting exhibition coming to SoHo mid October.

Just back in town, and last Thursday I felt the call of the East End.

Such a fun, beautiful evening - women creating together, supporting each other, and somehow making it all look nearly effortless.

Congrats to @nidhikapur and @lisaperrystyle for partnering at ONNA House @onnahouse and bringing together such a great group of women architects, artists, and designers.

@thekateowen eye behind the camera, so many talented women, all under one very special roof - the Japanese-influenced 1962 modernist home designed by Paul Lester Wiener for legendary art collectors Robert and Ethel Scull.

Lisa + Nidhi, @maidenhome, @jamesblackagency thank you for having us, for the inspiration, and for the conversations.

One year ago, we partnered with @onnahouse—a 1960s modernist home in the heart of East Hampton dedicated to showcasing art, furniture, and objects created exclusively by women artists. Founded by Lisa Perry, Onna House is committed to increasing visibility for women working in craft-based mediums, many of whom have historically been underrepresented.

Our partnership with Onna House, bringing ceramics, sculpture, textiles and woven objects into TWP stores, was rooted in a shared commitment to female craftsmanship. One year later, we gathered with friends of TWP at the East Hampton gallery to celebrate that collaboration, the artists who inspire it, and the community that continues to grow around it. by @onnahouse

Yesterday was the opening for our new show
PLAY & Wander through Whimsy
It was pouring rain but it didn’t stop people from coming and enjoying art and cake and tea sammies and fun..

it’s hard for me to believe it’s our fifth season at Onna House East Hampton. Every show I say, this can’t be better than the last one, but i’m actually not surprised each show gets better because of the enormous talent of artists all over the world.
Yes we focus on women yes we focus on craft most of the time we select artists who are closer to home but the inspiration for us is endless.
So we will keep bringing you new exciting beautiful art from near and far and hopefully you will keep coming and and cheering us on because you help Onna House and the artists thrive and that means everything to us.

So thank you once again for supporting our mission to help give women artists the platform and support they need to continue their gorgeous work..

And Special thanks to @sorate.co for the delicious matcha and tea

Before it was a gallery, it was a gathering place. In 1970, Gloria Steinem and Betty Friedan stood on the deck of this East Hampton glass house, rallying supporters at one of the earliest women’s liberation events held there. Decades later, the same spirit of advocacy stays within its walls.⁠

Now, @onnahouse is entering a new chapter. Founded by @lisaperrystyle to champion women artists and designers, the restored modernist landmark has expanded beyond the Hamptons with a new Soho outpost — bringing its mission, exhibitions and community to Manhattan. ⁠

It was a honor last night to be hosted at @onnahouse with our Emerging Matrons.

Onna House serves as both an exhibition space and community that represents exclusively women designers and artists, specializing in craft Onna House was founded in East Hampton, but has a seasonal location in Soho, which we explored yesterday evening.

Lisa Perry (@lisaperrystyle) toured us around the space and told us stories about the artists she has exhibited, championed, and supported.

Our Emerging membership is open to join throughout the year— be a part of special events like these!
