Inside. Aligned. Ready.

OCA Founder & Director, Derek Perera, was welcomed by Delhi Capitals CEO Sunil Gupta, Director of Cricket Venugopal Rao, and Head of Academies Puru Singh — from strategic discussions at Headquarters to interacting and observing closely at the iconic Arun Jaitley Stadium during the team’s training session ahead of their opening clash.

Conversations that matter. Vision that aligns. Pathways that are real.

This was more than access — this was integration into one of the most powerful cricket ecosystems in the world.
Every discussion centered around one goal:
Creating world-class opportunities for OCA players.

The message is clear.

Departed October 12th. Arrived in New Zealand October 15th. After a long, grueling journey, there was no slowing down Arjun Benipal and Arya Katariya!

Straight from the airport to the nets! Preparing for the weekend's cricket, settling into a new environment, and connecting with their new teammates.

This is what player development is all about! Stepping outside your comfort zone, adapting to new environments, embracing challenges, and building the mental toughness to succeed.

And this is exactly what OCA has been doing for over 23 years! Creating international opportunities, opening doors, and providing experiences that develop not just better cricketers, but stronger individuals.

New country. New teammates. New challenges. Same hunger to improve.

The OCA pathway in action! 🇨🇦🇳🇿

As announced earlier, we're thrilled to officially welcome Shaheed “Shady” Keshvani, Strength & Conditioning Expert, to the OCA family!

At Ontario Cricket Academy, we're constantly striving to raise the bar in High Performance cricket, providing our athletes with access to elite coaching, specialized training, and the expertise needed to compete at the highest levels.

Strength, conditioning, athletic development, and injury prevention are essential components of the modern cricketer's journey, and Shady's addition represents another important step in elevating our High Performance pathway.

Our commitment remains the same: to give our players every opportunity to train, develop, and perform at the highest level.

Champions are built through continuous learning and hard work!

Understanding the importance of Strength & Conditioning and learning how to train the right way is a key part of player development.

Our youngest league players, the OCA Under 11s, are wasting no time building the foundations for the future!

How do we get better? We never stop training, playing, and learning.

The journey starts young. The standards start now.

🏏 FROM OCA TO NEW ZEALAND — THE JOURNEY CONTINUES! 🇨🇦🇳🇿

We are thrilled to announce that two of Ontario Cricket Academy's rising talents, Arya Katariya and Arjun Benipal, will be heading to New Zealand next week to compete in the country's domestic cricket league circuit!

Having been part of the OCA development pathway since their early cricketing days, both players now take another significant step towards realizing their ambitions of playing at the highest level.

Their journey follows in the footsteps of Akhil Kumar and Akash Gill, two of OCA's earlier success stories through this international partnership.

At OCA, our commitment goes beyond coaching and developing cricketers. We believe in creating genuine pathways, opening international doors, and providing our athletes with opportunities to grow, compete, and succeed on the global stage.

A special thank you to our longtime New Zealand partner, Dilan Raj, for his continued trust, collaboration, and unwavering support in creating opportunities for OCA talent.

And recognition to Ascensio Global Sports Management for their exceptional player management and commitment to turning opportunities into reality.

From grassroots development to international opportunities — this is what the OCA pathway is all about.

Congratulations, Arya and Arjun! We wish you both tremendous success as you embark on this exciting new chapter.

OCA — Developing Talent. Creating Pathways. Opening Doors.
