Wrapping up my 2026 Cricket Season with a thank you note to everyone who believed in me (a 13-year-old at the start of the season) and gave me an opportunity to express my game and enhance my skills. I can proudly say that 2026 gave me lots of mentors, friends, and well-wishers.

This was my first season with OCA @ontariocricket at the youth level and my first season in adult divisions with MMCC @madnicricket , Ambassadors Sports Club @ambassadors.sportsclub , West Indian CC @westindiancricketclub , Whitby Sports CC @whitbycricket_sportsclub , Whitby CC @whitbycricketcanada , Pro Sports CC @prosports.cc and few others.
Thanks also to Cricket Ontario for organizing the U16 Youth Regional Championship. Had a great time with my team, Titans, while reaching the finals.
Loved the experience playing High School Cricket for Anderson Raiders in the DDSB LOSSA tournament.

Stats Snapshot:
- Matches: 103 matches - 55 youth & 48 adult
- Batting: 1100 runs in 76 innings
- Bowling: 73 wickets in 73 innings
- Fielding: 26 catches & 10 run-outs

Leagues played:
- Cricket Ontario (U16 Youth Regionals)
- TDCA (U15, U17, First Div.)
- SCA (U15, U17, Third Div., First Div., Premier, Elite, T20 Second Div., T30 Premier)
- Mississauga Cricket Premier League (U16, Canadian Int'l Cricket Festival U16 & U19)
- BCL (35 overs - Div. 2)
- BEDCL (50 overs - Div. B)
- BSL (T20 Gold)
- Ajax Cricket League (Legend T20, T25 Elite)
- Whitby Cricket League (Elite T20)
- DDSB LOSSA (15 overs High School)
- OCL
- TPL (T20)
- MPCL (T30)
- ECA (T20)

Stats don't reflect the entire journey. I met lovely people and made memories I'll cherish for a lifetime. Success or failure, runs or wickets, win or loss, rain or shine, morning or night, irrespective of any of these, I gained valuable experience that will stay with me forever and will transform my journey in the years to come. With a dream to represent Cricket Canada one day and to shine in global cricket, I will keep trying.

My next step is to train harder and become a better version of myself during the off-season. I will come back stronger in 2027 and continue with my journey.

Yesterday, I joined MP Iqra Khalid, fellow parliamentarians and diplomats from across the Commonwealth for the annual Commonwealth Cricket Match on Cricket Advocacy Day.

With more than 300,000 athletes across the country, Cricket is one of the fastest-growing sports in Canada, bringing communities together through sport and culture.

That’s something we know well in Brampton, the Cricket capital of Canada, where the sport is an important part of our community.

Thank you to MP Iqra Khalid and everyone who helped bring this year’s match together.
