A little over a year ago I graduated college. So much has happened since then! It’s been a rollercoaster with moves and job changes and trying to find my people and my purpose. With so many of my younger friends going through it now or soon, I wanted to share some of the things I’ve learned:

- Make time for yourself every day. If you don’t, it’s hard to find your way back.
- Find fun ways to exercise! Some people like Pilates, some people like running, it doesn’t matter it’s just whatever works for you!
- You do not need to be working a job that’s going to be your career. It’s okay to just try things while you figure your interests out.
- Things you do don’t have to make sense to other people if it feels good to you! This extends to jobs, relationships, moves and anything else! If you’re getting up every day dreading something, it’s time for a change.
- Invest time and energy into building your new community. You will feel so much better when you have people to hang out with, text, call, cry to! Maybe you even reconnect with people from high school… <3
- Most importantly, do NOT let the old men at work make you uncomfortable! Report them!!!!

4 years ago, I flew to New Orleans with no clue where Louisiana was on a map and no idea who I was outside of volleyball. On Saturday, I finished college with beautiful memories, passions, people, and a deep love for New Orleans I will carry with me forever. I am an artist, a designer, and most importantly a dreamer.
