October is my favorite month of the year and it is already full bangers! Had to keep the new release hopefuls shorter this go round since I’ve got several seasonal-themed reads on tap too! Will I get to all of them? I surely hope so because holy cripes, what a bunch of authors I love so much!

QOTD: Did I miss your most anticipated read that I need to add to my list though? Because again… FOMO… 😉 by @oopsjenreaditagain

Maverick and Aster will finally be ours on November 17th.

So while we anxiously wait for one of the most anticipated releases of the fall, Queen CC has graciously given us another teaser and we are ever so grateful 🖤💜

❓QOTD: how many versions or formats of Beneath A Midnight have you preordered?!

P.S. there is no AI content in this post. All made by Jen and I.

What a big day!! A release day for the birthday girl!! I’m fresh out of captions today soooooo you should really just wish @brighton_walsh a Happy Birthday and because I’m assuming you didn’t get her a present already, you can grab a copy of The One-Night Secret on any (or all) platforms instead!

Narrated in Duet by @jamescassidyromance and @rosediorovo, the audio is my top vote as mode of reading because it is filthy and funny and sweet and there are group chats and James and Rose make all of those things even better. So don’t be a party pooper and go get your copy right now!

Go on… git! 👋✌️ by @oopsjenreaditagain

Here’s a little ditty about Walker and Naomi… and this time they’re in duet narration! And because of my questionable search history for the making of this reel, it has probably landed me at the top of all sorts of federal agency watch lists all over again… but… #worthit 🫡🙂‍↕️

Bright Light Dark Thunder is written by @connorcrais and narrated in duet by Connor along with @ms_brentmoor, the A team really, and you can get it right now (especially while it’s $6.99) directly from his website!

Listening in duet had me captivated all over again and reminded just how much I love the mysterious, ex-military, tortured broody hero that is Walker Cole and throw in Naomi who’s got her own secrets and baggage? 🤌 perfecto.

Blurb:
Walker
I was a soldier. A terrible weapon forged in secret.
Now I’m a ghost.
I’ve exiled myself to a remote cabin in Montana, where I intend to live out the rest of my days, buried as deep as my secrets.
Until I run into a stunning woman in a prison uniform. Or rather she ran into me, a weapon in her hand and secrets of her own chasing her. Naomi Barrett is beautiful, smart, capable and in a whole lot of trouble.
I should leave well enough alone. But when I realize how much danger she’s truly in and that I’m the only man who can save her, I don’t have a choice. Some battles choose you. And when my past threatens her as well, I’m forced to become the soldier I swore I never would be again.
On the run, I’m fighting a losing battle against my own heart as I fall for the girl with pale blue eyes.
I’d burn down the world to keep her safe. Even if it costs me what’s left of my soul.
I was trained to be the perfect soldier. But I never expected to find someone worth fighting for. by @oopsjenreaditagain

🇺🇸 My name is Oops Jen Read It Again and I approve of this message 🇺🇸

What do I want? A life-sized Maverick Steele Holt cardboard cutout. When do I want it?? NOW!

I don’t think it’s too much to ask, right? I will be hitting the campaign trail September 29th to celebrate the release of Maverick’s book, The One-Night Secret, and to see @brighton_walsh and I will filibuster the shit out of her because think I deserve him. AND I will take him to Frank’s Diner with me and he can be my road dog for life. Not gifting me this fine AF, morally grey, tatted up red flag is gross negligence of her constituency and really just plain diabolical. And that is not how you treat your fans who are willing to scratch your head in lobbies of hotels when you least expect it…

*It should probably also be mentioned that I googled the meaning of almost all of the political words used in the making of this ad to make sure I was using them correctly 🤷🏼‍♀️🫡. I should probably have a cardboard cutout of Merriam Webster too. by @oopsjenreaditagain

I love me some surprise book mail and @kristenproby puts together one doozie of a care package!! I am so looking forward to watching Come Away With Me this weekend on Passionflix (ya know, once I figure out where to find it because my Xennial brain doesn’t operate the technology so well… 🫣) and now I have my very first Kristen Proby signed booked! 🙌

Also — Kristen has her very own app because she’s super fancy so come on over and join the fun!! You get the inside scoop to all things Kristen Proby (and Natalie Kane if you so choose 🙂‍↕️🔥) and it’s a great way to not miss what the algorithm decides what we can and can’t see!! Just put Kristen Proby in your little ole App Store search bar and wah-lah!

And thank you Kristen for this package!! 💛🥰 by @oopsjenreaditagain

Note: no AI was used in making this edit and we have no clue why it’s tagging this. Ah, technology.

So…you want a small town romance with a pro hockey hero and the heroine is his PT? Okay okay, cool. Also looking for ‘he falls first’ vibes, found family, and it’s a bonus if he becomes an adorable cat dad? Got it, got it.

May we suggest What About Us by @kristenproby, which so happens to be out today?

This story is charming, compelling, emotional and spicy — and we both loved it so much. The audio was especially delightful with lead narration by @savannahreadsromance and @liam.cortright — both of whom NAILED their performances. Not to mention the full cast that rounded this sucker out — including @ms_brentmoor @sebastianyork_official @connorcrais @katauden @stellahunternarrator @jasonclarkereads and @aka_averycaris!

Snap this one up today and thank us later. For real. Go get it. We’ll wait. 😉

Congrats, Kristen, you’re a queen! And thank you so much for the ALCs!! by @oopsjenreaditagain

If there was ever a voice that I heard and thought yep… that’s the guy who I would trust to give the ultimate touch her and die and then rip someone’s trachea out… it would 100% be this guy 🙂‍↕️

The voice of Carson, my beloved King of Vegas who I have been waiting for since Book One is going to be none other than the one and only @connorcrais … but then who could possibly meet this level of performance and be Carson’s leading lady who I just know is going to be perfectly jaded, full of sass and (hopefully) feminine rage?? His one and only love, Rina St. James, will come to life 😏 and be voiced by the little vixen that is @stellahunternarrator 🙌🔥😭

AND YOU THOUGHT I HAD NO CHILL ABOUT THIS BOOK AND SERIES BEFORE… 🙌 I will not survive this but what a way to go out! 🔥🔥

Vicious King written by Queen @authornataliekane releases October 22 so get readyyyyyy!!

And look at these tropes!!
🔪 Assassin MMC
🖤 Mafia Romance
🤫 Secret Baby
💨 Woman on the Run
🖤 Found Family
☠️ Touch THEM and die (please… I canNOT 😮‍💨) by @oopsjenreaditagain

“If you see someone without a smile today, give ‘em yours.” Dolly Parton was the epitome of positivity and never taking anything too seriously… honestly she is who we should all strive to be, especially in spaces like these where it so easily loses the plot with negativity and toxicity… Dolly would never…

But one thing she WOULD do is giveaway some books so that’s what I’m about to do!! As per usual, I’ve still got a pile of dupes and today we’re gonna do a THREE-FER! Three books for the price of just simply entering the giveaway! Up for grabs: the Probably Smut Special Editions of Fever Dream and Midnight Message as well as a signed copy of Just for the Plot by Meghan Quinn!!

All you have to do is make sure you’re following me (reminder, don’t be a doofus and follow only to unfollow, I have zero tolerance for that kind of chutzpah), be sure to share or repost this post and give it a like and then drop in the comments what you’re going to do today to put a smile on someone’s face!! For additional entries, tag a bestie!

Giveaway will end Friday 08/28 at 12p CST!! by @oopsjenreaditagain

I should’ve known it would be the mastermind that is @authorbrittaneenicole to give me a reference that would have me going on a deep dive for Lloyd 🙂‍↕️🙌

🔊Sound On (second slide) for some sweet nostalgia AND it’s safe for work this time!! 😉 **updated to add evidently IG cuts audio off on slides at 60 seconds so that’s cool to learn… after the fact 🙄 this just solidifies you need to get the audio so you can hear what you missed!

I had no doubt that Bonfire & Bliss Bookstore would be another Brittanée Banger but not only did I love it but clearly so many of us did because HELLO!! Our girl hit the New York Times Bestsellers List!! 😭🙌 so friggin well deserved and looooong overdue! 🩷 not to mention it is THEE CUUUUUTEST shelf trophy! And the audio is narrated in duet by the perfect duo of @meganwicks and @jamescassidyromance so whether it’s with your eyeballs or your earballs, you need to prioritize this one on your TBR especially for fall!! 🍂 by @oopsjenreaditagain

🙏🏼 Forgive us Father for we have…actually wait, no, the only “sin” here is if you don’t read Devil immediately.

🖊️ Sierra’s writing always seems to have powerful lessons carried throughout without ever feeling like she’s trying to actually teach them. With Devil and a war between the righteous vs. the wicked, ultimately it is revealed that no one is meant to be alone. Accepting that you can always lean on other people and then allowing them to lean on you too.

🎧 Massive standing ovation to @meganwicks for her performance in this book — she embodied Birdie’s sadness, loneliness and struggle IMPECCABLY. And of course, @jacob____morgan delivered an insanely immersive performance as Ryan Bell that left us speechless.

Whether you’ve followed each of the Bell brothers on their journeys as Jen has or this is your first introduction to this family as it was for Jenny, Devil will be a compelling, thought-provoking read that will stay with you regardless of your experience with the series.

🫶🏼Be sure to mind the lengthy triggers/authors note before diving in if you’re concerned about the content.

Thanks to @mustloveaudio for this ALC produced by @lyricaudiobooks — it’s a stunner!
