🙏🏼 Forgive us Father for we have…actually wait, no, the only “sin” here is if you don’t read Devil immediately.

🖊️ Sierra’s writing always seems to have powerful lessons carried throughout without ever feeling like she’s trying to actually teach them. With Devil and a war between the righteous vs. the wicked, ultimately it is revealed that no one is meant to be alone. Accepting that you can always lean on other people and then allowing them to lean on you too.

🎧 Massive standing ovation to @meganwicks for her performance in this book — she embodied Birdie’s sadness, loneliness and struggle IMPECCABLY. And of course, @jacob____morgan delivered an insanely immersive performance as Ryan Bell that left us speechless.

Whether you’ve followed each of the Bell brothers on their journeys as Jen has or this is your first introduction to this family as it was for Jenny, Devil will be a compelling, thought-provoking read that will stay with you regardless of your experience with the series.

I've said it. I will continue to say it.

It's part of my August posting challenge (a day late 🤷‍♀️), so here we go.

This is not meant to be controversial or to start a debate. This is only my opinion and a few reasons why I love audiobooks. I say it often. They have been a GAMECHANGER for me. For a variety of reasons, they have allowed me to enjoy so many more books, authors, and narrators than I would if I was eyeball reading them.

I know they aren't for everyone. And THAT'S OKAY! We are all still supporting these talented authors and their writing. Let's support each other, no matter what format we enjoy a book in.

Audiobooks have introduced me to my people here. I have connected with so many other audio lovers, and that's been the most unexpected, but my favorite thing since starting my page.

Well, color us excited for a new story from @devneyperry! The Secrets of Clarence Manor is coming on Nov. 10, and is a new adult romance set at an elite school — and is the first story in her new Aston University series!

We hear it’s spicy and mysterious and romantic and our XOXO, Gossip Girl hearts couldn’t be more ready.

Into the Fading Twilight🩵

@oopsjenreaditagain , @shannas_bookshelf and I listened to ALCs of Catherine’s newest release, Into the Fading Twilight, and we were all blown away by emotional depth of this story 😩🙌🏼

This book was the ultimate healing journey for two broken people that needed each other to make them whole again. Their journey started in the darkest of dark places, but with each other and their understanding that’s it’s not about the perfect love story and instead it’s about just showing up, scars and all, they came out on the other side. And Skylar finally got the mom she deserves!🥹

Of the three of us, only Jen guessed the villain right, so Shanna and I will just be out here hoping Catherine doesn’t once again outsmart us in the next book of the series 😂

🎧 This audiobook has duet multi-cast narration by Brittany Pressley and Sebastian York featuring Jason Clarke, Teddy Hamilton, Adam Gold, and Connor Crais. Catherine has gone above and beyond with the audios in this series, so it is definitely a book you want to listen to!!

The amount of wonderful books, series & authors I’ve gotten to read thanks to my book besties & awesome quotes on posts is insane and I’m super grateful:)

And while i will always hype up the ones I already know and adore, today I’m shouting out some of the authors that I haven’t read yet , but super excited to & the book friends who recommended them (thank you so much!!😊😘)

I am so excited to read all of these authors & comment below which book(s) of theirs are an absolute must read or where should I start? :)
