Going overhead in Pilates doesn't have to feel like something you survive. 🙌

If you've ever skipped an exercise because it felt too risky, too scary, or just not for your body — you're not alone. Not even a little.

We hear this from beginners. From people who've been practising for years. From teachers.

The fear makes sense. What doesn't make sense is that most people were never actually taught how to build toward these exercises. They were just told to do them.

Fear isn't the problem. Lack of information is.

Yes, these babies are shipping while we are away!

Got a dm from one of you epic humans wondering if you’d have to wait until we were back in Vegas for decks to ship? Nope! We work with a small, family owned biz in Florida.

They ship Monday to Thursday every week!

AND!! The Reformer deck back order is now shipping!! Finally!

Thank you all for your patience! We definitely had to practice patience too! They were meant to ship mid September and then a machine broke down 3x that delayed them. Then a hurricane.

We know it’s annoying to wait but we appreciate your willingness to shop small.

We’ll focus on a very challenging exercise on the Mat: SIDE BEND!

We're going to build-up to a strong Side Bend by working from our hips and legs to create lift from the center while taking the load off the shoulders and wrists.

Today we hit 50k as an educational YT channel. No gimics. No trends.

It’s hard to articulate how meaningful this milestones is. When I first started my YT channel I did it with heels dug in, every filming included some tears and frustration… y’all back then tripods were expensive and AirPods and mics didn’t exist on an affordable level… so every video had to be a one take!

Omg, I can’t even tell you how many times I would get to the end of a video and just before I wrapped it up an ambulance would drive by…

But every video we dropped got love and curiosity.

Each comment and like made it easier to show up and keep going.

No matter where I am in the world someone tells me how much my videos have helped them. How they’ve passed tests, worked out each day, finally understood what their teacher was saying…

I read and respond to every comment.

And I truly love it. Because it helps me see what y’all need.

This will sound odd but it does feel like we are just getting started. Or maybe it’s because I feel like there is so much more we can do to support you. The Pilates lover.

No matter your level, your background, my channel will always be there to answer your Pilates questions.

If you are one of the 50k THANK YOU! Thank you for being part of this journey. No matter if you subscribed yesterday or 10 years ago.

That’s a wrap! Ended our 10th tour, 14 stops, 5500 miles in the city of Las Vegas where these tours first started in 2019!!

And, our hosts @commonwealth_pilates were in attendance of our first ever tour stop way back then.

These pop ups have always been about community and the last stop yesterday was evidence of that. We had Pilates lovers and teachers from all over the valley.

Different backgrounds, needs, goals and we had sooo much fun! First with a Mat and Tower circuit class and then with my favorite workshop the Thass®️

Lots of aha moments! New connections and I am sure their 🍑 are remembering what fun we had today.

And we gave away prizes from @balanced_body @contrology.bb @toesox @vooray @crae.home and @pilatay

We couldn’t have done this @opc.pilates tour without those of you who came, our hosts and @balanced_body who powers these tours so we can see each of you!
