Most people spend months choosing a venue, photographer, dress, menu, and décor - then realize invitations aren’t something that can be ordered and delivered in a few days.

Custom invitations involve:
Design and proofing
Revisions
Printing
Embellishments (liners, wax seals, ribbons, etc.)
Assembly
Mailing time

When invitations are left until the last minute, couples often have to:
Rush the process
Pay expedited fees
Eliminate design elements they wanted
Settle for something less custom than they envisioned

Give them the time and attention they deserve.

Oh! And don’t worry about why I have pearls on with a casual outfit!🤣

You’re not just paying for the finished product.

You’re paying for all the problems I solve before they ever become yours.

Today, that meant creating a custom jig so I could engrave multiple perfume bottles consistently and efficiently for an upcoming fragrance experience.

Tomorrow? It’ll probably be something completely different. And that’s entrepreneurship.

I’m constantly learning, adjusting and finding better ways to serve you because the details you never have to think about are often the ones I’ve thought about the most.

That’s what I want working with Open Invitation to feel like - thoughtful, intentional and effortless on your end.

I’ll handle the details. You enjoy the experience.

A little outside my niche today… but very much part of my life. 💅🏾

One thing entrepreneurship will teach you is that there will ALWAYS be something else to do.

Another order to complete.
Another email to answer.
Another idea to execute.
Another post to create.
Another thing that feels like it can’t wait.

And if you’re not careful, you’ll put yourself at the very bottom of a to-do list that never actually ends.

So yes, I got my nails done.
Not because everything on my list is finished. It isn’t. But because I’m learning that self-care doesn’t have to be something I earn after I’ve exhausted myself.

Sometimes the work can wait.
And sometimes the appointment you need to keep is the one you made for yourself. 💅🏾

Turns out, the creativity doesn’t have to stay inside the boutique.

One of my favorite parts of what we do is creating experiences, not just products.

Our team can take the creativity on the road, bringing the supplies, setup and details needed to turn your space into a hands-on creative experience for your group.

Girls’ night. Team building. Organization event. Birthday celebration. Private gathering. Or simply an excuse to get your favorite people together and make something.

You provide the people. We’ll bring the creative experience.
And if you’ve been following Open Invitation thinking, “I had no idea they did that…”
Good. I have a lot more to show you.

Based in Canton | Serving the Jackson Metro area

What’s the purpose of a ROOM REVEAL, you ask?

It’s a moment created just for the couple.

Before the doors open. Before the guests enter. Before the music begins and the room fills with celebration… the couple gets a few quiet moments to simply take it all in.

To walk into the reception space and see every detail they’ve dreamed about—the florals, the tablescapes, the lighting, the dance floor, the place settings—all beautifully brought to life.

A room reveal also gives the couple an opportunity to:

✨ Experience the space completely untouched and perfectly styled.
✨ Take stunning, editorial-style portraits throughout the reception space before guests arrive.
✨ Capture genuine reactions to the design and all of those carefully curated details.
✨ Share a quiet, intimate moment together before the celebration begins.
✨ See the full vision from the perspective their guests are about to experience.

Once those doors open, the room changes. Chairs move. Glasses are lifted. Conversations begin. The dance floor fills.

But for those few precious minutes, the room belongs only to them.

And after months of planning, designing and anticipating this day, they deserve the opportunity to stand in the middle of it all and say…

“This is ours.” Custom Dance Floor: @chairappeal Stationery + Branding: @openinvite Specialty Seating @chairappeal Design + Floral: @kcfloraldesigns Cover Image: @b_mckenny1 Coordinator: @adrian_kardashian1 Avenue: @providencehillms #MISSISSIPPIWeddings #MississippiWeddingPlanner #ProvidenceHill #CustomDanceFloor by @openinvite

I’m not saying wanting every little detail to coordinate makes you extra… but I’m not NOT saying you’ve found your people. 💜

Because around here, the little details are kind of our thing.

The invitation that sets the tone.
The signage that matches.
The personalized touches your guests weren’t expecting.
The gift that feels like it was made just for them.
And yes, the tiny detail that “probably doesn’t matter” but somehow pulls EVERYTHING together.

At Open Invitation, we believe celebrations and gifts should feel personal, intentional and unmistakably you.

So if you’re the person who says, “Wait…can we make that match too?”
Come sit by me. 😂 You’re exactly where you belong.

You don’t have to buy it from us for us to make it personal.

One of the things we love about personalization is that sometimes the best item to customize is something you already own.

That favorite bag.
That tumbler you carry everywhere.
That journal.
That special keepsake.

Swipe through to see a local attorney’s personal brief case we recently engraved.

Have something in mind? Send us a photo before you bring it in so we can let you know if it’s a good candidate for engraving. Let’s make it uniquely yours.
