In a circle of women in Tajikistan, Amina found more than health knowledge—she found friendship, confidence, and support. 💕
Today she not only cares for her own health but inspires her family and neighbors to do the same.

Headaches, dizziness, fatigue… Amina thought it was just part of life. But one health class run by our partners in Tajikistan changed everything.
Discovering her high blood pressure pushed her to make small, powerful changes—less salt, more movement, and healthier habits for the whole family.

🎉🇹🇯✨ Tajikistan celebrates a historic victory! ✨🇺🇳
On October 1, 2026, Parliament officially ratified the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD).
This milestone is more than legislation—it’s a triumph of inclusion, equality, and hope for persons with disabilities and their families across Tajikistan. 🌍💛
👏 Huge congratulations to our partners and communities who worked tirelessly for years to make this day possible. Together, we’ve opened the door to brighter futures! 🌱🌸

Girls are leaders. Girls are change-makers. Girls are driving good and growth around the world.

This International Day of the Girl (11 October), stand with girls!
Help girls stay in school, stay safe and shape their own futures, especially in crisis and humanitarian settings. Amplify girls' voices and leadership, ensuring girls are part of the decisions that affect their lives and futures.

At our very first community meeting for families of children with disabilities in Iraq, we realised something important: the children themselves hadn't been invited.

So we asked for Evlin.

Surprised but delighted, she joined us, and her presence changed everything. From that day on, families knew these meetings were different. They were places where children with disabilities had a seat at the table and a voice in the conversation.

As we celebrate International Day of the Girl on Sunday, our hope is that girls like Evlin can look forward to a future where they are recognised as leaders, advocates and changemakers.

Because every girl deserves to be heard. ✨

Even though they come from different backgrounds and cultures, these young women are growing in understanding and respect for one another through our youth football training in Jordan.

🌍 Counting down to International Day of the Girl 🌍
This week we’re sharing stories of girls whose strength shines through in our projects across the countries where we work. ✨

At Wednesday Club run by our Community Based Rehabilitation team in Kazakhstan, a 7-year-old with cerebral palsy, now sits upright on her own, giggles through exercises, and reaches out for high fives. 🌱 Her progress shines week after week.

In Kazakhstan, many teachers shared their struggles with stress, exhaustion, and self-doubt with our life skills team. Our team responded with art therapy and well-being workshops where the teachers found space to reflect, recharge, and gain practical tools for resilience. 🌱

The change was powerful—teachers grew more confident, patient, and equipped to manage challenges. By investing in their well-being, we’re also investing in classrooms where students feel supported, understood, and encouraged to reach their full potential. ✨

From mothers to daughters, skills are being passed on in our Women's Empowerment project in Kazakhstan.✨

Teen girls took the lead in planning Men’s Day celebrations for the boys—making pizza, decorating, welcoming with song, and creating joy. With guidance from their mothers, they practiced teamwork, decision-making, and initiative.

This is what empowerment looks like: women equipping the next generation to lead with confidence and creativity. 🌱💛

Earlier this year, our community based rehabilitation team in Kazakhstan helped to host ✨Night to Shine ✨—welcoming 75 guests with disabilities, their caregivers, and one-on-one companions. 💃🕺

Together with the Tim Tebow Foundation and local partners @cplife_kz we celebrated dignity, joy, and belonging through food, music, games, and dancing.

Each guest was crowned to affirm their worth and received a gift with messages of hope: You belong. You are worthy. You are loved. 💛

This unforgettable evening was more than a party—it was a step toward building a more inclusive and compassionate community in Kazakhstan. 🌍✨
