First @nacra15_17gbr winter training camp. Had the best time! Thanks @jasminewilliamssailing and @benharris_sailing for coaching us.

Day one was like summer again... we got to practice our light wind sailing, starts and racing.. we did well with that, we even won a practise race.

Day 2 was like the total opposite of day1....loads of heavy wind, rain, waves and fog. We were having a blast out there in the wind until I flew through the sail...ekk. Massive ripped hole! Thanks @benharris_sailing for helping with the temporary repair job to get us back on the water. I also tried out a new capzise method too 🤣

Looking forward to getting back out there as we are improving so much and getting better each time.

🏆 Welsh ILCA 6 Youth Champion 🏆

An amazing weekend up at @plas_heli for the Welsh Youth and Junior Championships with some amazing conditions!

Saturday we had a long wait for the wind to die down a bit, we launched into 15-23kts with some nice waves! Staying fast and keeping the boat flat was very important. I managed to keep my boat speed high throughout all the races. Race 1: 1st 🥇/ Race 2: 1st 🥇/ Race 3: 1st 🥇

On Sunday we had to wait for wind. By the time the wind finally filled in the mist came in with it which meant no racing was achieved.

Overall: 🥇

Happy with my results but a lot of work needed to improve over the winter ready for the next season!

A big thank you to @ryacymruwales for organising the event and to @plas_heli for hosting us. A big thank you to all the volunteers and race committee for making the racing possible! We really pushed it this weekend with training. Getting more confident every time...... sometimes this did end in disaster though 🤣 Really nice conditions, got to make the most of it before the winter sets in.

Can't wait to put everything in to practice at the weekend @westonsailingclub

At the weekend we were lucky enough to be able to train alongside the National Squad down in Plymouth and it was such fun....

We progressed so much over the weekend! Our communication and teamwork has really started to show in our sailing. By Sunday we raced with the squad and were not coming last.

Thank you so much squad for helping us and letting us newbies play too..... and thanks @jasminewilliamssailing for all the advice over the weekend.

Thanks again @plymouthmarinecentre for the rib support and @mark.41sbf for the extra coaching too.

River Exe Regatta 2026
Four sailing clubs come together to sail from @starcrossyc -my club.

Day 1- #Drama - The rivit on my boom went and I was towed back in = no sailing for me. GUTTED!

Day 2- Wanted to prove i could do it, and bashed out a 1st🥇 in race3 & a 3rd🥉 in race4. Beat the club commodore and everyone in my fleet except the two RS200s in race 4. Get you next time 😊

Sooo.. slight change of plan going forward. I've decided to be a @nacra15_17gbr sailor after the summer. Can't bloody wait, it's going to be awesome.

Today I did some training with @samm_turnerrr so I know what i'm doing when i start crewing for @georgestacey00 after the summer. Thanks Sam 😊

It's going to be a lot of learning, but determined to do well.

Great weekend at @haylingislandsc for NS4. Saturday was some very light winds some tricky racing. Sunday very windy at some points with some better results on the sunday. Overall 19th out of 71 sailors. Overall a decent weekend.
