Lovely to celebrate Claire and Amy’s wedding yesterday! ✨

Message exchange with Alex from 2 days after we first met. His wish came true 😜- and I am dressed the same 😆

Congratulations to the happy couple! 👩‍❤️‍💋‍👩 @c.mcilraith by @oran_longmuir

Wrapping up on the Gym Bros development for now. A big thank you to @creativescots for funding the process, to @circuspaisley for hosting us, to @edd_muir for being a magnificent outside eye, to the people who came to our workshops at Circus Paisley and @transactiveedi , to everyone who answered our survey questions, and to all who watched and gave us valuable feedback at the sharing.

The Bros are back! 💪🏼💪🏼

Thanks to funding from @creativescots we are spending two weeks developing our Gym Bros act into a longer piece of circus theatre. 🎭

This week we have been working in different gyms each day, to be inspired by different environments and gym-goers. We have created a short online questionnaire about gym culture and masculinity, and would really appreciate answers from anyone who goes/ went to a gym. Link in bio. 🧑‍💻

Next week we will be in residency at @circuspaisley . We will be teaching a partner acro workshop on Wed 10th June from 6-8pm (book on their website) and also hosting a work in progress sharing at 4pm on Friday 12th June (just show up). All welcome! 🎪

We will also be running an acro workshop with @transactiveedi on Sat 4th July from 12.30-2.30pm. Book through them (trans/ non-binary people only). 🏳️‍⚧️

Hope to see some of you soon! All events are free to attend.

It seems that funeral performances are becoming my niche. *hands out business cards* After hearing about the previous one, Andrea, a close long time friend of my partner Alex, made a point of telling me he wanted that at his funeral. I had hoped that his request wouldn’t become relevant for decades to come, but here we are.

The music is from Frieren, one of Andrea’s favourite animes, which appropriately relates to a journey to the resting place of souls.

Big thank you to @dramatiskazokolowski for working on and performing this piece with me! (Video is from rehearsal)

Also very proud of @alexxviictor who officiated the entire funeral ✨ It has been both horrible and beautiful to see Andrea’s close friends and family come together for each other since he left, as they did for him when he was here. He knew he was loved, if only it had been enough.

Rest in peace Andrea, you were a good one! 💜 by @oran_longmuir

In honour of LGBT history month- images from @tabbytslur ‘s brilliant play The Law of Mayhem about trans trailblazers Michael Dillon and Roberta Cowell, the first people in the UK to undergo gender reassignment surgery. A real pleasure to work with such a wonderful cast and creative team @proteustheatre , @kit_green , @lilmissmos @1000tonlopes , @peteyparty_ , @ambersinclaircase , @danielaessart , @mary_swan_wild , @jodieunderwoodlighting , @mwengrams . Performed in Basingstoke Sept 2025 (where the surgeries took place!) and hopefully going on tour 🤍🏳️‍⚧️
