For years the Moroccan Diaspora has had a major influence on music, sports, streetwear and youth culture in the Netherlands. To celebrate that impact, Maghreb Diaspora brought together Dutch-Moroccan talents @42marou @douniasoudi @karim22ss and @salmakarkouri styling them in the iconic Nike TN tracksuits, a staple of Maghreb street culture and photographed them at the iconic apartment from the Dutch-Moroccan teenage series Dunya & Desie.

The series captured what it was like growing up as a teenager in the Netherlands, navigating life between two cultures. It became a cultural touchstone for Dutch-Moroccan youth and had a lasting impact on an entire generation.

The last two months with PUMA @puma.morocco @maghrebdiaspora and @dardediaspora for this AFCON🇲🇦 have been truly special to me. It started in Rotterdam, 🇳🇱the Netherlands, and ended in Rabat, 🇲🇦Morocco.

As a Moroccan creative born in Europe and part of the Diaspora, it has always been my dream to create something meaningful for my country and my people and we made it happen. From serving as Creative Director for the @maghrebdiaspora x @puma.morocco editorial shoot, led by @dardediaspora creative agency and powered by a fully Moroccan team, to leading as Creative Director for the PUMA Dar Maghreb watch party in Rotterdam.

WESH !!! @maghrebdiaspora in 🇫🇷Paris !!!

Still can’t believe what we pulled off, and I’m truly grateful for this opportunity and experience. An incredible panel of 🇲🇦🇩🇿🇹🇳Maghreb creatives from Paris, an amazing host, and the best community we could ask for.

A few years ago, I had the dream to host a Maghreb Diaspora event in Paris, to create connection within the community and build a place of inspiration. And we made it happen in the place where Cabas Night was born. I still remember walking into @unionjeunesseinternationale for the first time in 2023, hearing @lynamalandro talk about the history of the space while I was on a mission to connect with more Maghreb creatives.
