If I’m creating a fantasy character, I might as well fully commit to it. ✨

These ear cuffs from @orem.craft were the starting point — all those shifting shades of pink, purple and blue, somewhere between petals, wings and something not quite from this world.

And instead of letting them be just one detail of the outfit, I wanted to build the entire character around them.

More shimmer. More flowers. More translucent layers. More color. More unusual shapes.

Basically: maximising the fantasy character until every little detail feels like it belongs to the same creature. 💜

That’s probably one of my favorite things about fantasy fashion: taking one small idea and seeing how far I can push it. Iridescent jewelry, fantasy ear cuffs, fairycore fashion, whimsical accessories, elaborate fantasy makeup and layered textures can completely transform the feeling of a character.

And I definitely don’t think fantasy always needs to be subtle. Sometimes more is simply more. ✨

Sometimes one tiny detail is enough to create an entire visual idea in my head.

With these ear cuffs, it was the translucent green in the center. Depending on how the light hits them, the colors shift and glow — and I immediately started thinking about stained glass, sunlight through leaves and all those delicate organic shapes you find in Art Nouveau.

So instead of simply photographing the jewelry, I wanted the whole shoot to feel like it grew out of those details.

Soft beige tones, botanical elements, warm light and lots of transparency to let the Stained Glass ear cuffs remain the brightest part of the images.

I especially love fantasy jewelry that doesn’t need obvious fantasy symbols to feel magical. Sometimes unusual shapes, iridescent materials and a little bit of light are enough.

This one ended up somewhere between Art Nouveau aesthetic, botanical fantasy, whimsical jewelry, elf inspired fashion and a very soft fairycore aesthetic — without becoming a full fantasy character.

And I think that might be exactly why I like it so much.

Who decided fantasy accessories are only for fantasy outfits? 🤍✨

I love pieces that look a little unusual, but that doesn’t mean I always want to build an entire fantasy character around them.

These moth-inspired ear cuffs from @orem.craft are such a good example. With all the warm brown and beige tones, they work surprisingly well with a simple, everyday outfit — while still adding that little bit of magic that makes it feel like me.

And I think that’s my favorite kind of everyday styling: comfortable and wearable, but never completely ordinary.
