If I’m creating a fantasy character, I might as well fully commit to it. ✨

These ear cuffs from @orem.craft were the starting point — all those shifting shades of pink, purple and blue, somewhere between petals, wings and something not quite from this world.

And instead of letting them be just one detail of the outfit, I wanted to build the entire character around them.

More shimmer. More flowers. More translucent layers. More color. More unusual shapes.

Basically: maximising the fantasy character until every little detail feels like it belongs to the same creature. 💜

That’s probably one of my favorite things about fantasy fashion: taking one small idea and seeing how far I can push it. Iridescent jewelry, fantasy ear cuffs, fairycore fashion, whimsical accessories, elaborate fantasy makeup and layered textures can completely transform the feeling of a character.

And I definitely don’t think fantasy always needs to be subtle. Sometimes more is simply more. ✨

What would you call this creature? 🌸🦋

Sometimes one tiny detail is enough to create an entire visual idea in my head.

With these ear cuffs, it was the translucent green in the center. Depending on how the light hits them, the colors shift and glow — and I immediately started thinking about stained glass, sunlight through leaves and all those delicate organic shapes you find in Art Nouveau.

So instead of simply photographing the jewelry, I wanted the whole shoot to feel like it grew out of those details.

Soft beige tones, botanical elements, warm light and lots of transparency to let the Stained Glass ear cuffs remain the brightest part of the images.

I especially love fantasy jewelry that doesn’t need obvious fantasy symbols to feel magical. Sometimes unusual shapes, iridescent materials and a little bit of light are enough.

This one ended up somewhere between Art Nouveau aesthetic, botanical fantasy, whimsical jewelry, elf inspired fashion and a very soft fairycore aesthetic — without becoming a full fantasy character.

And I think that might be exactly why I like it so much.

Who decided fantasy accessories are only for fantasy outfits? 🤍✨

I love pieces that look a little unusual, but that doesn’t mean I always want to build an entire fantasy character around them.

These moth-inspired ear cuffs from @orem.craft are such a good example. With all the warm brown and beige tones, they work surprisingly well with a simple, everyday outfit — while still adding that little bit of magic that makes it feel like me.

And I think that’s my favorite kind of everyday styling: comfortable and wearable, but never completely ordinary.

If you love fantasy fashion, whimsical accessories and nature inspired jewelry, you don’t have to save them for elaborate looks. A neutral brown and beige outfit, some soft layers and one unusual statement piece can be enough to bring a little fairycore, moth aesthetic and whimsical fashion into your everyday style. moth backpacks from @restyle.pl work perfectly for that.

Would you wear ear cuffs like these with an everyday outfit?

For this ear curation, I mixed lilac and purple piercing jewelry with warm gold details, carefully combining different shapes, textures and placements to create one harmonious, detailed composition. ✨

All piercing pieces are from @wildcatgermany — and if you find something for your own ear stack, please use my code "WILDFLOWER10WT" for 10% off. ✨💜🌸

I wanted the finished ear styling to feel a little fairy- and elf-inspired — delicate and magical, but still something I’d actually wear as part of an everyday fantasy outfit. 🧚‍♀️💜

I especially love how an ear curation can turn individual earrings and piercings into one complete look. The combination of gold jewelry, purple details and whimsical piercing pieces gives this one exactly that fantasy feeling I was going for.

Would you wear an ear this decorated, or do you prefer a more minimal piercing setup?

And the beautiful behind-the-ear jewelry is from @orem.craft . You can also use my code "SASKIA10" there for 10% off. 💜

Why are we saving our favorite clothes for the “right occasion”?

I used to think some outfits were too much for normal days. Too dramatic, too unusual, too overdressed.

But if wearing something makes an ordinary day feel a little more exciting… isn’t that reason enough to wear it?

So yes, I will dress like I have an important side quest when I’m actually just doing completely normal things. ✨

What’s something you own that you keep waiting for the “right occasion” to wear?
