new icon time!!!
updated and back to my natural hair colour 💅🏻
but still thinking about frosted tips…

starting to feel the drawing groove again after the leadup to my birthday, which to me is always a little stressfull/emotional not because of getting older (honestly don’t mind), but i was now EXTRA stressed because I HAD to finish a whole fantasy outfit for myself without prior garment sewing experience (yes im very brave not stupid at all thank u) (pictures will come… some day…)(or a drawing mayhaps)
so i ended up sewing too close to the sun and crashing with vertigo the day before my birthday ✨✨✨
at least it was a good exercise in self care at the social function

i love adding a little storytime timecapsule thank u for listening

my other card that i got, seven of pentacles!
this one was a lot of fun too, its been a good learning experience too, working with these kind of deadlines again, in the past i would freeze up under the pressure of the end result, but now ive learned to just start and have fun again 🤠🌟

my magnum opus of the past 1,5 weeks 😮‍💨😮‍💨 (swipe for details)
thank you @drawingmoony for hosting the fun dtiys!! big fan of this cute character design !!

as you can probably tell, ive been enjoying drawing up these little room scenes A LOT, its such a fun way to put my drawings full of stuff (i love stuff)

have i…found…my style??
idk, but i have found <A> style what works for me :]
im still exploring what ‘my style’ is and isnt, but at least ive gained a lot more confidence in my art
ive found that just starting and sketching has become a lot easier over the months

also sat down for multiple sessions to finish this?? unheard of

badtober day 6 - cheetah!!!
i was looking forward to this one and today i finally got to sit down and do it !!
saw a cub when looking for reference and had to draw a little parent child duo
i love the way all the different prompte bring out my different ‘styles’ if u can call them that, but i LOVE this new procreate pen (vinyl) that i discovered at the end of my last drawing. i love drawing with a chunky pen like this, makes me draw way differently
watch out for little guy he is carbloading

@badtober day 1!! friggin lied to u and myself when i thought i wouldn’t do any prompts i hadn’t prepped beforehand, since this is my first time actually trying any -tober, alas i thrive under the pressure (…i haven’t finished any of the prepped pieces …🐛)
lets see how long i can keep it up 🐟

swipe for big spooky guy !!!

this piece was a real struggle but in the final stretch it got so much better when i figured out the right search terms to get whale video footage i wanted as reference 😭😭
only took me a month to go from ‘whale watching’ to ‘whale swim up to surfer’ to get the water texture i was looking for
drawing with the right reference makes art fun frfr
